A water analysis will help determine what water filtration equipment you need. This video explains how to interpret it so you can make the best decisions for your family.
What is the address to test water am pretty confident has tannin and iron in sw florida well. Will put in whole house filters for both and uv light to be careful. Should not be anything else, total solids low and not heavily populated or farming.
Thanks Gary. I'm in Italy. I have a mix of rainwater (collected from roof to a cistern) and municipal water which is brought in by ship (living on a small island) and mixed with rainwater. Trying to educate myself on various systems and options. We drink wine and bottled water to be on the safe side but accumulate so much plastic every week. Time for an analysis to make a more informed decision on how to proceed. Enjoy your informative videos. Thanks
I would seriously consider a Reverse Osmosis drinking water system like this waterestore.ca/products/hum-water-saver-reverse-osmosis-system-75-gallons-per-day
Hi Gary, Great service you are providing. I got a water test and I have a question about two areas - Hardness was 123 mg/L and Water radon was 4,217 +/-63. Also Uranium was 21.8 ug/L which I realize is lower than max but it worries me. Do you think I need a water softener? Do I need radon remediation? I am on well water. All the other parts of the test were well below the limits or ND. Thanks!
In terms of the hardness, I would suggest you check out these 2 videos ua-cam.com/video/mIDhciiDSfc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/yPWUOoX4lNg/v-deo.html. Also, a Reverse Osmosis system like this will remove the Uranium. waterestore.com/products/hum-water-saver-75-gpd-reverse-osmosis-system-brushed-nickel-faucet. Radon is not something that I have delt with in the past, I would contact a company that specializes in Radon removal.

This was helpful Gary, this next question of mine might be dumb but what is the maximum level of "lead" that we should be tracking?
Offically it's "The maximum acceptable concentration (MAC) for total lead in drinking water is 0.005 mg/L (5 µg/L)" But I prefer 0.
Thank you so much for sharing.
I picked up my results today and it only had two tests, coliform and E.coli. Both results came back as
You had a bacteria test and it told you that your water is bacteria free. I think you are looking for a minerals test.
@@water_estore Thank you Gary.
Hi. I got a water test and the phosphate level was at 800 ppb with a water softener. Are phosphates a concern?
Safe level for Phosphates is 40,000 ppb or less. So you are fine.
