*Kens Karpentry* Hay fellas great job, bravo well done. Thank-you for taking the time to bring us along. Those units your using to raise the walls are the cats ass, first time I've ever seen them. God Bless.
Al Lumnah reached out to the company that makes them and so they used them on his build and he gave them to Ken. The first gable didn't go so well. I hope they help Ken sometime down the road.
Ok Who is more anxious to see the boiler up and running? Me or Al??? I keep worrying about the cold and your batteries and stuff. It ain't like here where we had 70s a couple days ago and now only 50s with a cold front going thru Stay warm! The pics of snow covered trees are beautifu. and more so when sitting in a warm cozy room :) Blessings to all
I really enjoyed watching this Ken. Your builds go up in no time but these timelapse build videos make it look so true. Sometimes that was some scary weather too and you guys just kept going. Al is really lucky you built this for him. Nice ending. Thanks for this Ken!
It's been a joy to watch Ken's Krew and the Lumnah Homestead working together. As Ken puts it.. "All the good words". THanks ALL for sharing this process.
It was fun meeting all of Ken's team of builders through Al's building project. It was a project to look forward to and watch. I hope there's more on Al and Gina's house build.
Thanks Ken... It was fun watching this again as a timelapse... The Lumnah's are a young family with solid core values to boot. I've enjoyed watching them progress along on their journey... Looking forward to the next presentation Ken, Chad & Dan... The nor'easter is upon us as I leave this comment on MLK day... Bill... :~)
I really enjoy watching your systems in play to work smarter not harder, from the centered rolling up of the tarp to the lining up of ladders that assist as you plywood the roof. All of the preconstruction you do prior to site arrival, too. Incredibly organized start to finish, and outstanding detail & quality. You really are the thinking man's builder, Ken. I hope you have good apprentices to pass your wealth of knowledge onto before you retire one day.
As always, I'm amazed at your building system's proficiency. I've bypassed the channel you mentioned at the end, had no idea that was your handiwork. I'll go back and search for a link to see the finished product.
Good Monday mornin Kens Karpentry .... I speeded up the video even more, but had to back off a little because you guys were a blur🤣Between you and AL's videos .... you guys pretty much covered it all. Take care Ken, Chad & Dan + the Lumnahs ... have a very nice week.☃☃🪚🔨🪜
another Awesome video. i Love watching Your videos and Lumnah Acres too. i Love how you pre frame the walls and pre cut the pieces of the builds that you do. love those lift jacks too. :)
Around here in Minnesota I live in the rural area and it's hard for these farmers to find anyone that'll repair their buildings or build a garage for them I don't know where you are but I bet you could help a lot of people. The farmers around here are in their 80s but still need help.
Thanks for the recap. Must have been a little harrowing the first time you used the truss lift. I am glad it all turned out. Looking forward to watching more of your adventures.
Nice recap of the video's we have previously watched. It was a brilliant idea to combine of the efforts of two of my favorite you tube channels. By working together you were able to erect this structure in very short time. Perhaps you will do this again on another project, like Al and Gina's permanent home structure or future animal barns. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
The super great concrete job. The bottom plastic, high-standard rebar installation, and the very important vibration procedure ensure that it will never crack.👍👍👍
Awesome time lapse I’ve been lagging behind on your vids a bit but I think this is the first time I’ve seen you use ZIP system, awesome to see other than the GP dryguard and ply wood I’d personally recommend Advantech Flooring but I’m a bit bias as I work at the Huber mill where it’s all made at!!! Keep up the good work!!
So you believe in Advantech Flooring. Can you tell us a little bit about it so we can see its benefits? I'd like to know. I'm thinking of putting up a she shed so if it'd be better for me to use it I'd like to know.
Ken thank you for sharing this Timelapse video. I have marveled at you construction technique since finding your channel. Keep up the great work and an eye out for that Squach!!!!!
@@kenskarpentry If this was the Animal Planet and you were looking for one, you would never see one!!!! You are lucky to have so many sightings. If they speak French, they are snow birds heading south for the winter!!!!
Hi, I guess one nice thing about watching your "time Lapse" videos is since I am not learning anything by watching. I can just do some fast forwarding just to see the quick progress. But, I do miss watching to learn something. Oh well. I guess it's my lose of gained knowledge.
Merhabalar. Sizi Türkiye'den takip ediyorum. Bende betonarme inşaat işleriyle uğraşıyorum. 7×7 inşaat alanına hangi ölçülerde çatı yaparsak iyi bir yaşam alanı elde ederiz. Teşekkürler...
It makes me nervous seeing Al drill holes in the concrete for an interior wall. I hope he has some measurements to go by. Thanks again for your posting. What did you think of the Zip sheets?
As a framer of almost forty years, I find it strange that one would not put the odd brace on prior to sheeting the walls. The odds of all those walls being plumb is pretty slim.
@@kenskarpentry I didn’t mean to sound critical. We always put diagonal braces on outside walls before we sheet. We remove them after sheeting and reuse them for more bracing. They eventually end up in the trusses as bracing. It’s looks like you guys do a good job. Sorry to assume you don’t check them. I’ve seen a lot of tract housing guys who just square the wall with the sheets. I didn’t see anyone checking it. I guess you can’t film everything. Cheers
Al did put insulation down. I think he went with a floating slab because the area had been all distrurbed by the logging. I think footings work better in ground that hasn't been disturbed for many years. This land was disturbed quite a lot from logging and then the bulldozer!
This build was a blast!! Literally!!! I enjoyed watching both channels as this house was going up.
Thanks for sharing the time lapse, have enjoyed watching the build
I love how it starts out with everyone wearing t shirts and shorts

It's fun to see the time lapse of these different builds.

amazing project mr Ken respect how you build so nice and your crew
What a delightful look back. it was fun seeing it again, and i spotted some stuff i had missed the first time. thanks for the visit and the memories
Now THAT was a fantastic build Ken.🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟😎
Thanks for watching
These (in real time) were the KK videos that led me to the Lumnah Acres channel! Been enjoying their progress ever since.
Nice
Awesome loved it thanks Ken!!

FANTASTIC JOB, You and your men did tough out some mean weather doing that work but it is great. Thanks for the video.

I hope you get through this storm okay Bill. It's due to hit us in Minnesota on Thursday. Hang in there and stay warm!
Love these Ken, Great job as usual !!
Their build is really coming along. They have some of the doors and windows in. Of course, they are being held up a little by supply chain issues.
they also have most of the interior walls done too. :)
I like watching your builds and how they progress, very informative. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching
Great colab

It was good to see this home being put together again much has changed over the weeks
Awesome work guys, this is really inspiring to maybe take my framing experience and start building garages for others as well.

Great idea to show it from very beginning, because sometimes we are so busy checking what is under the roof that we forget what is under the floor 🙂
Enjoyed thanks for sharing

This was a VERY nicely built house. This is NOT a Tiny house. Great job.

Ken, I’m glad that you did this video recap in warp speed! I’ve been wondering, is Dan related to you?
Thanks. No he’s not
Yeah, let my guess, you charged them (with materials)-probably $70,000!

Using the lift the 1st time 7:35 looked scarier on this video. Yikes!
They cut best part.....
Hope your feeling better Kenneth ( MR PERFECT)!
Haha thanks
Son súper rápidos
Que costo tiene una cabaña de esas.
Hi 👋 Kens you never built a block 🚫 house 🏠 all wood 🪵??
It makes me nervous seeing Al drill holes in the concrete for an interior wall. I hope he has some measurements to go by. Thanks again for your posting. What did you think of the Zip sheets?
Thanks. Very nice
What can the problem be? Im confused. if its OK to drill for the outer walls, why not interior?
I hope Ken is well the last we saw of him he wasn't feeling himself.👍👍❤
I’m doing much better. Thanks
What’s the exact size of the tiny house?
Looks gorgeous. Splendid job Ken

Thanks for the comment. We always plumb each wall before we sheath. It seems to work well for us.
I’m not familiar with the term “odd brace”. Thanks again for the comment

...bbb.....bbbut thats not a tiny house..... Just Kidding... Excellent work......
Haha thanks for watching
Do you make your own 'i'or 'h' beams or buy in readymade.
I've never seen this jack lift device that lifted the walls.
What are the objects called that hold up the rebar while pouring the concrete, are the made out of plastic?
Yes
Tiny house🤔?? Love your vids.
Haha thanks
❤
I hope I dont hear this music in my sleep tonight? lol Are they rhythms from a electronic keyboard?
Haha
👍👍
What I noticed there is no wrapping around the PVC against concrete corrosion. Am I wrong?
Did you guys dropped the wall @7:59minute?
It kinda looked like it went down.😇😇
Haha close
ice ice wow
How much was material
Dude!!

Still back ordered

I woudnt want a house on a slab with no footers! especially where its cold

"Tiny"
Haha

Sorry. No control over the ads
Only in America is this a tiny house 😂
