The sound engineers at KEXP are seriously the best. These videos the most amazingly documented performances on UA-cam. Also, Mew are amazing. Such a great band and sound perfect live.
Love Mew. Definitely more a fan of their older material but no matter what they play it's beautiful, seeing them on KEXP was a nice surprise. Hope these guys just keep churning out albums forever, regardless of any stylistic drifts along the way.

Half The World Is Watching is also album holds a special place in my heart because it brings me back when my wife and I started dating.

Sadly..... Jonas Bjerre/singer just announced that he is leaving the band after their next two and last 30 year jubilee concerts in Denmark next year. The 29th of May in Aarhus Congress Center and 31th of May in Royal Arena Copenhagen, 2025 .. Tickets open September the 13th at 10.00 am central European Time.. 😢
I miss him too. I feel that Mew's soul is strong because of Jonas' voice & Bo's guitar. Without Bo, Mew sounds different. Still good but different. His guitar play makes Mew's music sounds very unique.

Love KEXP. I've discovered countless artists from them, and their reputation for live performance videos is totally unrivaled.
In my top 5 bands of all time for sure. And that goes back to the 60's. Just so dreamlike melodic on many levels.
