It was certainly an upgrade compared to what Anthony Mackie did with the role in my opinion . It's been many attempts to portray Malcolm x and very few got it right . The same applies with pac . I truly believe it would take an actor years of research , watching countless interviews , concerts and speaking with his peers to really get a deep feel of PAC . Right now the surface has just been scratched but ship is arguably the best we have so far .
