I have tried it, and I think it is the best that Aurora DSP has released. Incredible sound, very good review.

Thank you for the compliment on the review! Yes, I also think this plugin sounds amazing. They have other great things like the Rhino, which I really enjoy but Drivethru makes me genuinely excited!

Dude, Excelent vídeo. This plugin can use without other apps like GarageBand?

Thanks man! Yeah it has something really cool to it - curious to see if they'll add cabinets in the full version.

I had to have this! No questions asked! I Love the clones to Ly rock and Joyo Rigel take, how did You maintain such high cutting frequencies when so scooped out? There is really a lot harmonics, it can chainsaw it could do whatever. I pair with Hotone Jogg and Mooer Radar. It’s a rig on fire! You can feel the dynamic and sculpt Your tone dramatically! I sound like a snob commercial. Are You playing/recording direct? Great Demo

And If You want put an 808 analog on it?

From my experience, driving analog pedals before plugins does work quite well. Just got to make sure you get levels and all that correct. If that information is not available, the. The tale old as man - use your ears - is applicable here. :-) happy riffing!

I am recording direct on my example here. Straight into the interface. I think I maintain the high frequencies also by the way I play, like very percussive. But I also like very bright sounding thrash tones. ;-)

Well, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I tried this with your exact settings and it didn’t sound anything like that. It was awful, actually.
So, I have my Jackson JS32 with the stock Jackson pickups going into the clean channel of my Boss Katana 100 MkII head. I know the Jackson pups aren’t exactly Dimarzios or Seymour Duncan’s but they aren’t terrible either. All tone controls at 12 o’clock and no effects turned on. The interface output of the Katana goes into my PC into the Aurora DSP. So the DSP is getting a clean, unaltered guitar sound.
Now, I am listening to it through my usual PC speaker arrangement which, being an avid gamer, is not terrible. Four surround speakers with a sub woofer. When I listen to your sound through them, even at volume, it still sounds great; a nice tight metal crunch. Mine sounds fuzzy and muddy and pretty much awful. I made sure I had the controls in the DSP exactly like yours.
Maybe it’s the Katana interface. I have a small, inexpensive audio book interface that’s a Scarlett Solo copy. Maybe I’ll try that, but I’m not too hopeful.
If I may ask, what exactly is your signal chain? Like, what interface? Is your PC connected to an actual guitar amp?

Hi there! Sorry that I read your comment that late!
I am on my smartphone and I suck at typing here, if more info is needed, I can type tomorrow on the PC, but:
I use an Audient iD44 interface. Quite a good interface, it has 10dBu of headroom when plugging in a guitar into the dedicated instrument input, so it's quite a hot signal which hits the plugin.
I do not know what headroom the katana has, but the Scarlett's often have 12dBu, not sure about the Scarlett solo, especially since you have not mentioned the generation of Scarlett(4 generations by now).
But, my best guess would be the Scarlett having 12 dBu. In that case, you want to boost your signal b 2 dB to get similar results like me.
Please note, that the Audient iD44 instrument input does a little bit coloration onto the signal - it somehow adds a nice chunk and clank to the mids, which other interfaces don't do. It is subtle, but definitely recognizable.
Hope this helps, let me know how things turn out on your end!

I noticed that on the delay. Its weird hiss sizzle on the repeats. I have to mess with it more. A comparison with the real thing would be cool.

Would love to do a comparison, but unfortunately to real deal is out of my reach currently :-( Thanks for stopping by though!
