My 8 week old frenchie just passed due to having telescoped intestines. It is such a freak thing and I am so devastated, I paid 3 thousand dollars to get an emergency operation and he made it out but his poor little body could not bear the stress of the surgery. Im so sad, R.I.P. Rambo I love you buddy

Don't forget the following:- 1. Flatulence. Can stink out a whole room. 2. Allergies. Have the dog tested. Most of them suffer from allergies. 3. Extreme shedding. 4. Over eating. Need to ve managed. 4 . If you want to go in long walks etc, forget about this breed. 5. Wipe their butts after poos, or risk staining everything they sit on. 5. Not much loyalty. Will go with anyone who offers treats. 6 very stubborn . Will often not follow instructions. 7. Loud snoring. 8. Breathing issues Like the breed, but would not own one, let alone two.

We recently had an opportunity to get a frenchy through a friend of the family and at first I was hesitant as I had never considered them. But after meeting him we knew we had to adopt him 😁Having our little guy (Bonte) has made me reconsider this breed and how wonderful they are as pets 😊 he brings us joy every day!
My Frenchie is the best dog I have ever owned. Got the day after I retired. He is a constant companion. This video hits all the spots. Always at your feet, so true, we call ours a footsitter. We just Ed finished a 3K trip in my RV
I grew up with frenchies , I’m now 41, my parents ( mom) was at one time the only breeder in Northern California many years ago. I remember for years walking our dogs ( we had 4 at any given time of our own) and everyone was always asking what kind of dog they were. Now the breed is so popular rarely do run into someone who doesn’t know and want to know how I got them. I have two, wouldn’t own any other breed , they are very people oriented , so if you work long hours not the dog for you they demand constant companionship .

No you had no business pulling over and opening your door, obviously that is someone else's dog, Thief. The owners didnt pay a few thousand for nothing. just because it doesnt have a chip doesnt mean they cant take it back from you. Go post posters where you found it for found dog and then if no one claims it, then i guess its yours. you have nerve saying thats god providing it to you because you invite a dog into your car and it goes and you steal it. the devil provided that dog to you, your own greed.
That was a great video to watch, I know for us that now that we've been converted to Frencie's we'd never go back for a different breed, the love you receive from a Frenchie is unbelievably unconditional, they constantly want to give you their love & affection which oozes out of their every pore, every day we feel blessed that our Frenchie furbabies chose us as much as we chose them.
We have three bulldogs… one English, two frenchies. The English is a brat, the male frenchie is a softie, and the female… a total lunatic lol!!! Never-ending energy!!! XD The personalities really vary. Love them all
As longtime Boxer parents, we plan on having Frenchie's at some point later on in life. They are very sweet and playful, like a downsized Boxer. We would consider getting one now but our Boxer is quite rambunctious and fear for a Frenchie puppy with her.
Me working from home watching this documentary. While both of my Frenchies are asleep under my desk. While wrapped up in the blanket I use to keep me warm.
We had our pug, Rocky for almost 16 years. He was a great companion ☺️ We now have a little Frenchie girl, Luna. She is so much fun and soooo playful. Love both the breeds.
Both these bulldogs have hyperkeratosis (keratin build up) on their noses; it’s pretty common for the breed, my pug has it also, and it’s harmless. It can cause discomfort, dry nose, cracking, bleeding, and reduced smelling capability though, but all you have to do to treat it is moisturize it routinely. There are special nose balms on the market for dogs which will moisturize the nose and cause the keratin build up to slough off painlessly.

This was a wonderful video truly capturing the breed. I have owned large and small breeds, Boxers and Jack Russell's, now I have own Frenchies and they are exactly what the couple have described, a lot of dog wrapped up into a small package.

Top breed in my state. Behind Labradors and various hounds for boars. For small dogs, French Bulldog or Mini Schnauzer would be the breeds id love to own.
Still looking forward to the dachshund video. One breed you might be interested in as a hound and as a rescue is the Galgos. A Spanish breed, they were once the breed for kings but now live the life of a street pit. I really appreciate your in depth look into the breeds, the breeders and the owners of various dogs. This video was very good.

FOR REAL. My pup is 12 weeks old and farts nonstop.
They probably curb that with a great diet.
I feed mine a raw food diet, twice a day, rarely has gas and their poop almost disintegrates if in the yard for a couple days.
True, but you can help mitigate the gas with a good diet (I use Halo) and NO people food.
My French bull dog has really bad flatulence, changed his food to d/d science diet (food allergies) and he no longer blows up the house
