Escape from DeVil Manor is an animated point and click adventure and sidequel to Disney's 101 Dalmatians movie (1961). Cruella's henchmen Horrace and Jasper have kidnapped the dalmatian puppies. You play as one of the pups named Peaches. Save your friends and escape Cruella's villa.

I was so obsessed with this game but I lost it when we moved. I was devastated so I drew up “Lost Game” flyers and posted them around my house and let one fly in the wind outside hoping some stranger would find it. Then one Christmas I got it again and my dad told me about the wonders of eBay lol

Oh man, i remember playing this when i was young. I was never able to finish it though.
I was too scared to continue because of Jasper and Horace but that was nothing compared to racing against time and never knowing how much time there is left until Cruella is back. She was what i feared the most because i knew what would happen if she came back to the Manor.
Ahh, being a child and playing this without your parents were fun times.
I used to always find games like this mesmerizing as a kid, and would study all the details in every environment, trying to get as absorbed into the world as possible. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that there weren't really any other platforms at the time, that would allow you to play games that had this type of graphics and voice acting and stuff. It was either the 2-D side-scrollers of the Super Nintendo and/or Sega Genesis, or the polygon-riddled graphics of the Nintendo 64 and/or PlayStation. There was something about games like this that felt really timeless, captivating and unique.

I don’t know why more people don’t talk about this game, it was so oddly dark and creepy! And because you were playing as puppies that made it ever worse. We used to cover our eyes while we played.

Same! My cousins and I used to play this all the time on our computer when we were younger. It was scary whenever we got caught, but it was still fun.
The taxidermed bear scared me when I was young.
I had this game back in the day and I loved it! The graphics still look good today imo and this came out all the way back in 1997. They should have made more adventure games in this style. Devil Manor is great as kid's adventure game but they could have made some really good looking point and click adventure games in this style. It is pretty similar to Curse of Monkey Island.

There’s another way to get out of the manor: set up a trap for Horace in the game room.

For anyone who still has this game now, good news: This CD-ROM runs perfectly on the emulator "DosBox", with or without Windows 3.1 (per the requirements). This was a childhood gem of mine, and like others below I too got mesmerized by the details of every scene - so much that it kickstarted an interest in architecture. Before I knew how to take screenshots, I'd let the game idle and draw every detail for hours on end.
Glad to know it still works to this day.
The funny part in the game is when Jasper slips and got his head in the toilet 😂🚽 nice walk through video by the way

I just think it’s genius that they combined the 1961 cartoon characters with the 1996 live action settings. Very cool! It would have been awesome if they made a Little Mermaid live action game this year with the 2023 settings.

Blast from the past. I tried to play it when I was a child. Was terrified. Amazing game, sad that I didn't finish. It was dubbed into Russian even. Crazy memories.
i just realized, Roger Made this game in the live action Movie as well!
One thing I remember from this game is that if you are caught enough times you can escape in such a way that you actually win the game.
It was a nice feature for a dumb kid like me that had never played a point and click game before and couldn't go more that 3 minutes without getting caught

This game is quite scary, because Cruella De Vil and The Baduns are villains that you see in the gameplay. Thumbs up if you noticed the evil wealthy woman on a roll of "Disney Villains Forever" postage stamps that I got for Christmas 2017.

They should have made more of these kind of games like they should have had one of Beauty and the Beast where Bell learns about The Beast past and childhood before he was turned into a Beast and find put why he was a spoiled prince and how he was raised and who his parents were.

Let's see:
First you want to click on 'Download' on the website I linked.
Then another website will open called 4shared. Click on both items called: Install-DEDM.D01 and Install-DEDM.exe
This will bring you to the download page for both items. On this page you need to click on the download button at the left side and then click free download. You are asked to log in using Facebook, Twitter or Google+. Choose either or sign up, nothing else is required. After that your download will begin.

Because some media has it where Pongo and Perdita have the wrong collar (I used to have a book that shows Pongo with a blue collar and Perdita with a red collar.)
