@@tonyjenkins71 unfortunately, I don’t think there will be a video per the note at the bottom of the printhead upgrade page on the BCH site. This looks like a game changer, but without additional video help, I’m not gonna risk damaging my printer.
If your damper is secured by the base, not the plastic clip on the top, you probably can use it. Also, it has to be short enough to fit in. From the ones I tested, only one kind of damper works.
Kevin great video. I have a l18050 printer & i encounter both white channels disappearing in nozzle check then i replace both the dampers & my issue resolved for few days .. is changing the manifold help to resolve my issue ?
Where is the end of the video on putting the rest of the parts in the printer because i purchased this v2 upgraded nipple and im missing something thing doesnt go back together do you leave a bunch of factory parts out of the printer
@@JaQ-c7s hopes its as easy as he showing it. Because am on my 2nd conversion. And am having problems getting the printhead guard on without it falling off. i silicone it just like the vid.
Great manifold, but Ink dampers are trash, unnecessary tubing gets in the way clunky setup. If you ever get refilabl ink cartridges for that print head manifold, then I'm a 100% buyer,
Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts! I really appreciate your feedback on the ET-8550 nipple conversion and am glad you liked the manifold. I understand your concerns about the dampers and tubing-it’s always helpful to hear different perspectives on setups like this. If you’re looking for a system with refillable cartridges, I recommend checking out chipless conversion options at inkchip.net. They offer solutions and detailed instructions for achieving that. However, since the ET-8550 is an EcoTank printer, my focus has been on modifying it for DTF printing. Unfortunately, refillable cartridges might not be the best fit for this purpose. Each cartridge holds about 10-15 ml of ink, and DTF users typically go through 100-500 ml of ink daily. That would require constant refilling, which is why most of us don’t mind the dampers and what might seem like "unnecessary" tubing-it’s essential for the workflow. If you have more questions or need further guidance, feel free to write to me at support@bchtechnologies.com or post on one of my recent videos for a quicker response. I get a lot of questions, so it’s tough to keep up, but I always try to help where I can. Thanks again for your comment and for being part of the BCH Technologies community!
This works great on my XP15000 easy to clean, and I added a filter with it to, and no more clogged holes.
Will this work for DTF converter printers?
This is what it is designed for.
Can you make this for xp15000
Done. It's on my website bchtechnologies.com.
This is pretty cool... so just to be clear, does the nipple conversion work with the stock dampers, or do the dampers need replacing as well?
Just realized. You have to use only his dampers. he should put a video up. showing it works.

confusing. it didn't show how to remove the old one
I appreciate your feedback! I already has the steps for removing the old one in previous videos. Thanks for watching!

It could. The screen mesh on the ink inlet prevents the white ink going through and very easy to get clogged.
Can the silicone you use be of any kind?
No. Use the ones that do not conduct electricity when wet. Otherwise you are risking burning your printhead.
And one more thing make sure you do a clipless install cause it will not work without it just giving you a heads up before you do it.
Woah Kevin this is awesome.
😊 thanks
