I think they actually look so much better now! When your nails grow crooked and curved like that, shorter is a better way to go. Rock those shorties! 😀

Thank you! It took a bit of getting used to, but I think they look better shorter now. 😊

My nails looked like that from onycholysis. I saw a dermatologist who took a sample of my nail and they grew it in a lab to get the diagnosis. I took RX pills and it took about 3-4 months for it to heal. I was so happy to finally have nails back after treatment 😊

I'm so glad that worked for you! Was yours from a fungal infection? Because I was tested for that, but that all came back fine. I'm a naturalist, though, so I will exhaust all natural routes before I turn to medication. Even though it's tempting sometimes to just take a pill. 🤷

They have improved since this video. I had not realized how much till I looked back at this today. All I've done is kept them short. And I try my hardest to not use my nails as prybars.

I know this video was 7 months ago, but I just wanted to tell you that, for me.....I always look at cutting my manis back as a New Beginning, fresh start. Thanks for sharing. TTYL, my friend. ~~~~Tina

Thank you! That's how I look at cutting my hair. I always cut my hair when I feel overly stressed or when I'm stuck in a rut. After the initial shock this felt good and I've kept them pretty short ever since.😊❤️

My opinion to why this is happening to me is, because now that I use dip powder on my nails, and my nails are stronger, I use n abuse their strength..and them being longer than usual, (naturally) I think it’s because i slowly and regularly push the nail up, especially when we clean the house, so we regularly pull the nail off the nail bed..
We need to cut the nails short and give our nails a rest of constantly pushing / peeling them off our nail bed.
    I hope this makes sense.

It does make sense. Especially if the nail bed is already weak and having issues with adhesion. That said, I've kept them short since and still have the issue. 🤷

Sorry about the quality and sound of my video. I did not realize when I was filming it that I had the resolution on low and it's not like I can go back and re-film it now. :( The sound is horrible, too, but I did not realize until after my upload. That I can fix and might re-edit this video at a later time with a voice over. I promise my next video will at least have better image and sound quality - and I will not complain so much!
If any of you guys have dealt with this issue, I'd love to know if you were able to get rid of it. Did you have to cut your nails? Are you still dealing with it?
Thank you for watching and for your patience!
