How about a comparison of a certain size tire on different width wheels? So we can see the difference in height/width/sidewall etc. For example, show a 35x12.50R17 on a 17X8, 17X10, 17X12 wheel?
You guy's really need to do a matchup using the Atturo Trail Blade MT 35x12.50 with the Fuel Contra (20's) gloss black and candy blue clear coat over the milling, out in the sunlight. I freakin LOVE mine and they're easy to keep clean and put locks on with the covered caps. ;)
@@CustomOffsetsTV Cool, yeah you'll sell a ton of them if you do. Soo many people are over all black or chrome wheels, even the Methods are getting played out here in Socal. ;)
This is some spooky stuff, I was just looking up tires for my truck yesterday and got recommened a video about tire size and such today Y'all were also close to the actual size of my tires except I have 17 inch wheels and not 20 inch
Not something I'd personally take off-road. Everyone has their preferences. My rule of thumb is if you wanna take your jeep or truck off road, the diameter of the rim shouldn't be more than about half the diameter of the tire.
Take a look in our gallery! It will show what other people have made fit including the rubbing and trimming info of each truck! Customoffsets.com/gallery
Question for a possible future video. (Unrelated to this video). What’s the average mpg loss from going from a basic AT tire such as a Goodyear AT tire or some “stock” tire 90% run on to something more of a hybrid R/T tire like a Goodyear duratrac or Toyo open country? Like 2 mpg?
20x10's are the BEST size, they give you wheel curb protection, enough room for huge lift knuckles and big brake kits and are wide enough for properly mounted tire wear. They are perfect for 35s and up size tires for offroading. ;)
I agree boss I have the 20x12 arkon Lincoln -51 now and I’m switching back to 20x10 with a 35x13.50 ridge grapplers. 20x12s don’t add that much protection
I have a question, I have a 2015 Chevy 1500 with a 3” level in the front and a 2” level in he back could I clear 20x10 rims with -25 offset with 33” Nitto ridge grapplers without trimming. Slight rub at full turn would be fine though.
You might be able to, but it will be really close. A friend of mine used to have the same truck with a 3" level on the front, and 33" Open Country MTs on stock 20s. I believe he had a little bit of rubbing at full turn.
ordered a satin XD Heist 20X10 rims still waiting for it to show up... feel in love the moment I saw it XD
Today's Match Up is a 35x12.5r20 on a 20x10

You can always take a look in the gallery and see different setups. But well see if we can possibly do a comparison video in the future!

actually prefer that look then when the tire is smaller than the rim

Ooof so close👌

Need lift kit for sure??? For thad tire 35 x 20 ?? Or with out lift kit is good too?
Detroit DD16 or Cummins???
If I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma with a 2.5 inch leveling kit do you think I would be able to run a 17 by 8.5 inch rim and 31.5 by 10 inch tire

Depends on vehicle, gearing, resistance, how its driven, etc. mpg seems to vary quite a bit depending on the application!
Love these videos. Thanks for sharing.

DeathHead1358 thank you! I’ll probably put the tires on my stock 17” rims so I won’t run at all.
Take a look in the gallery! Itll show rubbing and trimming info of each vehicle!

Q u do a first 3 seconds in to a mix 🎤🕺😁
The original tires on my Ram 2500 MEGACAB are 285/60/20, can I replace them with 35/12.5/20 without lifting?
Thanks

Will 13.50 tires fit on 20x9s?
Been to 5 tire shops and noone can seat the bead on my 35x12.50 on a 12x20.
Only assuming you meant 20x12 there shouldnt have any issues mounting that up?
@@CustomOffsetsTV yes that's what I ment. Every shop says they cant get the tire to budge and I would have to find someone willing to use ether.
It's funny how wheel brands all bite off one another. XD just took the fuel contra and put there name on it.
With there being thousands of different wheel designs theres bound to be a few that look similar!

Why a McDonald's drive in curb? It could be an In n Out drive in curb.
We dont have that around these parts😅
@@CustomOffsetsTV Today, I will shed a tear for you.
You guys never lift grand Cherokees !!!!!
Dont get too many of them in here!
Custom Offsets are the tricky to lift/level? Because of the tight wheel well?
Boom!!! 1st lol
