You made me buy it, our small tug boat is a beautiful boat but very slow and has a lot of trouble with big boats . This is perfect and easy to use. Nice work Big B.
At $450 it shouldn't be missing any screws or other parts.

Hi big B, I'm so glad I found your channel because I've learned so much about RC boating I have a Blackjack42 the red and white version I've done a lot of your mod's and work out very well I've aceived 80mph because of your information and I don't care what other people say about you or your channel as far as I'm concerned your the best I watch many rc boating channels but can never wait to watch yours just excitement for me,just to let you know I've balanced and shappend my prop, aligned my shaft going into my collit,I wouldn't of know that if I didn't see it on your channel, also added separate cooling lines to moter/ESC, also sharping the rudder and strut that may not be a big deal for most people,but I had a stroke a few years back and I'm a senior of 68years old and having a lot of fun. Just wanted to say thank you for all you've done and all your hard work, hope you never leave the channel their s no one like you out there 👍.

The wall above the gun deck is the gunnels or bulwark, the holes which allow overboard water to drain are the scuppers.
The hatch is on a deck, the one you are referring to is the engine portal. The transom is the vertical section on the transom of the vessel, such as where the motor is mounted on a vessel powered thru an outboard motor.

I also bought a tug it looks good on the water was not happy with the amount of water inside kept checking and found a hole in the right bow area for a anchor needs to be plugged. I made a anchor and that’s plugged the hole.

Hook and loop Velcro one piece on the battery and one on the boat, the plastic type locks it in nicely

Great Video. I wish I had watched it more closely before unboxing mine. My lights didn't work as you stated. I start testing testing leads with a multi meter with no luck. Next morning before leaving for work I pressed the CH3 button, the water pump button. Low and behold the lights come on. Instructions say nothing about that from what I read. Also I inserted the batteries in transmitter according to the instructions. Won't power on. What the H. Look at the diagram in the manual. The battery door hinge is opposite of what my transmitter is. When I inserted the double A's I looked at where the trigger was positioned on the transmitter, not the battery door. When I reversed the batteries everything was good. Love the boat, instructions SUCK.
Lol. 😆 I was like, what the what! The dern lights aren't turning on I pulled esc everything out plugged everything in unplugged repeat repeat. Duh. Button on remote lol. Thanks for watching IRONCLAD RC

Big B! Is the Little white piece sticking out of the grease port for the Flex shaft a plug, or does it have a hole that grease will flow through? Thanks Man!
Yes sir it's to grease the shaft with out pulling the shaft. Hook a tube to it and grease the shaft externally

Canadian tugs compared to US tugs have a lower wheelhouse , I see them in our harbour in Peince Rupert BC 🇨🇦 , great review, I must have one, I have the M41 ,Stealwake 23,Blackjack24. Miss Geico 17, so one more , and it being a tug the perfect rescue boat

@@IRONCLADRC I went to the lake today ,with my M41 first time I ever flipped it,and left my rescue device at home,I thought it would sink but didn’t and got it back,the 2 3s batteries got wet,will they still be good,when dried out,cheers
Yea man they will be okay I usually put them in front of a Fan over night to dry out

This HH tug is a scale model of a tug in Germany, I cant remember the name at the moment but there are pics of it on line.
Pulled the trigger on one should be here in fewdays. I'll upgrade lights pump and I like the camera you had .money is the only hold up.
You'll love it. I'm in the same boat I've got a few boat builds I wanna do but can't due to funds 😕 my wife (purchase police) will kill me. Lol
Very nice addition to the fleet! I wanted one when they were first released but I got too many boats (at least that's what my wife says), and I already have a Zip Kits Twin Tugster that I use as a retrieval boat so I have that department covered.
Thanks brother, I was surprised at how detailed and scale the tug boat Is. It's definitely a head turner. I've seen the twin tugster's in action, work horse for sure. What go me with the HH tug was the sound it has a deep chug to it that sounds so real

Much better than going for a swim to get my stranded boat. My only question is how the hell you grease the prop shaft? Keep up the good work Bro!
There's a nipple in the boat on the stuffing tube, use a Syringe with grease squeeze in nipple on stuffing tube. That should do it

Yeah $450.00...are you kidding? Thats $100.00 more than I paid for my UL-19. Horizon needs to come down to earth. I know Horizon....how about making a tug for RC hydros w no LEDs and train parts that eventually break, for half the price. Sad thing is...Ill probably end up buying one. They did a nice job on the front of the boat and the included foam mount.

Just finally picked up my 30' Tug Boat for my revival boat. Any issues with the boat so far?
The only issue I had was the universal joint stripped where the drive shaft meets the universal joint. I have a video with a free fix..

I like that boat, and as much as I like to mod things, I'd leave it exactly as it came from the factory.......... Except for the water dribblers. The Dr. Jet approved mod would have them working like REAL water cannons. You want to be able to hose down those ducks (geese actually) from across the pond... 😲
I know rt hook a 3650 30a esc to a high volume water pump. Lol pressurize the system and have water shoot 60 feet.

I think if you saw and handled one of these in person you would realize the price tag actually makes sense. This is quite a large and substantial model.

I use it like every other day, retrieving flipped boats, only thing I had to replace was the esc but I run in salty water so it's my fault. It's not fast maybe 5mph pushing 6 or 7 with the wind and current

water cannons are a joke use that intake for cooling the motor adding a brush less and speed control did my old tug but 20% power to motor never killed a battery pump #1 cooling exit side switch in boat #2 pump out water via switch due to a tug boat use get the ports to hook the pump hoses up to pick you pump overboard carefully i should not be under water and it should never have water cover it
with the bulge pump in my boat i can keep it in the water 24hr or more set up a dock and a charging cable out there works great
Does it have speed control? And is the steering variable, or is it all the way right/left?
Yes sir it's actually got 2 speed controls one for the main motor & one for the water pump. It's full hobby grade with variable steering, I've had zero issues with electronics.
