As an old-time fan from Soul of a New Machine, through Demanufacture and Obsolete, Fear Factory is one of the only bands that can keep cranking out material that even if they only played tracks from their newest albums live, I would not only be satisfied, but excited and energized by the new ground they break, while maintaining their core competencies.
Burton, PLEASE COME BACK! FF will never be the same without you fronting the band!
you know i listen to fear factory 20 years later and you must say one thing about them: they never compromised, when you think how many bands just shifted into a more poppy form like say for example "cradle of filth" who started out death metal and ended up emo rock

Burton's voice always makes my jaw hit the floor in astonishment. There are not many vocalists out there who sing with the same zeal and animosity on each and every album that they put out. Hat's off to you Sir, you make us fans proud. And Dino you're such a technically proficient guitar player and inspiration to many, I love the way you try to reach out to the fans on a personal level, not many musicians really do that, you're not only a killer musician but a grounded person and I have very high regards for all of you! \m/ \m/
This band should be so worshipped by the masses that they'd never be allowed to hang it up. Still got a great following. Guess it's much better to have quality fans rather than quantity...So damn cool

@@harriedsloth4399to what are you speaking, specifically? Melding flesh with machine is nothing new, but it's going to keep ramping up. The apple vision is using mixed reality. How long before they can implant a lens in your eye? Hopefully never. I'm never doing such things. I'm going back to the spiritual as I now view this life as just one step of many in spiritual development.
FF's entire discography is prophetic. Bell did vocals on GZR for plastic planet almost 30 years ago, also on point. My favorite metal, along with Death's later albums (Symbolic, especially). Such important insight versus the gore nonsense a lot of metal obsessed with.

I'm really amazed at how Tony Campos & Mike Heller jelled in with the band so easily and make their instruments sound like it's a piece of cake, when it's not. These two are LEGENDARY musicians who have added a new flavor to the sound of "Fear Factory", totally digging this shit!

I did not know that "Genexus" is a concept album until I read Burton's interview which delves deeper into the subject of "Artificial Intelligence" and how he got inspired to write the album based on the subject. I'm even more eager to hear the rest of the songs, can't wait!

There has been a lot of BS surrounding the release of the album however Dino has cleared some doubts that everyone had related to it's release. Basically Burton is upset about the album getting mixed again and I don't quite understand why should he have a problem with that. This album will be released after almost five and a half years and we want to hear something which not only sounds great but also classy production wise. Chuffed!

You know, when I first heard a sample of this on the Genexus album teaser, I couldn't wait to hear the rest of the song. I knew it was going to be an amazing song. I love it when I am right!

none of you get it, the clean chorus is, unlike most FF songs, the robotic side, fully accepting the process ("take everything away from me", "replace my skin", it's always imperative : therefore "to feed the machine" is not meant in a negative way here) and the voice behind the harsh verses is the one expressing his dissaproval, refusing to give in, he's a subject rather than an actor(MY LIFE IS TAKEN-I HAVE BEEN DEHUMANIZED) this is a duet where the two sides are interpreted by the same person.
