BFG 17 and 14 ... do they even understand what pivoting is?

@james pivoting is moving both of your feet to wherever they need to be to throw the next pass without a pesky mark getting in the way

    Breakside handler movement
    11:06, clear and fill
    13:49, resets shut down
    14:08, shut down
    14:16,
    16:22, uhhh, hello, breakside
    19:27, upline
    19:39
    20:02, shut down, then turnover
    20:36
    *21:08, open side give-go
    *21:24, upline scoop!
*21:29, first reset shut down, but next one gets it, not a fill but fill-scoop-upline sort of cut. Not actually into power position bc mark is set and thrower is planted and stopped. But hucks for a goal. And to the handler reset who was initially shut down then cleared out
26:38, one cut shut down then upline scoop
*26:45, sideline break reset. upline completely clogged. The following possession by BFG 20 is interesting in that it is very hard to move it to the breakside. The easy continuation is covered perfectly by the mark, there's no inside half pivot backhand attempt, and when they clear upline, which I think is still a good move, the FOS doesn't try the breakside fill (looks like his defender, El-Salaam, anticipated that bc you can see him jump/shuffle in that direction --- brilliant). Maybe this thrower doesn't have a great flick around break. And so they get it forced back to the sideline near the endzone.
27:00, breaks and team perfectly execute a break flow to score. Worth comparing to 26:45.
28:54, upline, to power position huck.
    31:45, mark is cheating
    36:42, lack of reset options
    39:19, sideline
    40:21,
44:06, Great backfield reset, but the continuation is too early and is looked off
    44:44
    47:00,
47:24, upline goal. Switch miscommunication? (Really was a great opportunity to switch)
*50:40, yikes. Poor reset cutting. So this does come in on a highish stall count, maybe 4 or 5, but that still leaves enough time for a reset. Mixtape just doesn't know what to do here. She should've cut to the backfield for the around break. The thrower even wanted it. No reason to try that second upline. There's so little space, and the around is wide open!
    54:18, upline
54:46, Compare this to 50:40 above.
    55:17, upline. again.
    56:08, poor backfield/fill reset cut
    56:51, shut down
    1:02:08, fill goes upline
1:02:24, upline shut down then thrower doesn't even consider the backfield break reset...
    1:14:24, inside break to backfield
    1:18:30,
    1:18:33, scoober!
*1:18:46, the rare backfield around break! Feels like I've not seen more than two so far this whole game
    1:19:07, backfield shut down
    1:21:27, backfield
1:21:40, second cut goes upline instead of backfield... It's a theme this game. But look what it opens up, a huck and a goal! (You're not often gonna see that from a backfield reset.)
    1:25:39, backfield
*1:26:46, upline. The continuation is really well shut down though!
    1:26:52, upline
    1:28:50,
    1:31:21
    1:35:33,
    1:35:40,
    1:35:50
    1:36:12,
    1:36:35, inside break to backfield
    1:40:35
    1:40:51, another fill goes upline
    ### Open side handler movement
    11:19
    11:39, clear and fill
    13:35, 45 reset
    13:39, FOS cross to break
    14:01, 45 reset to space
    14:10,
    16:30, breaks wrap
    18:45, to space
    21:05,
*21:09, downfield give-go, does a breakside set up upline, and disc is overthrown
    24:20, 45 upline
    26:07, upline! (flat mark)
    26:11,
*26:19, 45 reset near sideline. Great cut
26:25, another 45 reset near sideline. This turns into a backfield give-go
    26:30, give-go
*26:58, watch how the mark on the receiver (El Salaam) shuts down the give-go and prevents an easy goal.
*29:18, 45 upline turns into a give-go huck! Longest yardage open side give-go I've seen. (Interesting that the BOS cut didn't cause a poach. But I guess that's mixed for you. The FM defender chose not to poach onto a guy.)
    31:36, give-go shut down
    32:06, 45 reset
    32:17,
    32:22, shut down
34:11, open side upline in essence. An odd one though.
    35:54, hmmm
36:06, multiple reset cuts shut down, or looked off... Has to huck and pray. Perfect throw though!
    36:27, backfield give-go miscue turnover
40:06, give-go shut down bc mark was already on the open side after trying to block the throw
    40:16,
*40:27, two open side give-gos for a score. Another angle at 40:57. I love how O'Brien gets open, stutter step and looks away from where he's going for some added misdirection
    44:29, sideline
49:09, poor reset cutting, the first one at least. Cuts off the cutter from the stack. Should've set up close to thrower and perhaps at a 45 behind. The fill, the person who gets the disc does a good job getting separation from defender.
    51:07,
    56:33,
    1:01:40,
    1:01:50,
    1:02:34,
    1:13:17, 45 upline
*1:13:30, sideline. Barely works. But does.
    *1:13:39, upline
    1:15:07,
    1:15:17,
    *1:17:56, sideline
    1:18:19,
1:18:39, give-go miscue. Almost blocked the throw
    1:23:26, mostly off camera though
    1:25:31,
    1:25:48, upline, almost D'd.
    1:26:35,
    1:28:42,
1:29:01, give-go almost shut down with a switch but it still happens anyways! They get open upline, power position and goal.
    1:31:35,
1:32:02, messy. (And yet I'm not sure where this guy should've cleared to.
    1:35:56, upline
    1:36:23,
    1:37:06, upline and give-go
    1:40:16
    1:40:19,
    1:40:26, downfield give-go
    1:40:41,
    1:40:49
    ### Other:
    10:10, starting pull
11:40, Love this EZO flow. 3 perfect continuations! The switch break cut is perfect and El-Salaam's read from FOS is perfectly timed.
14:16, the spacing on the rest of this point is impressive. so much space opened up! Score in 3 throws
    18:25, Mixtape zone D
*20:01, disc at attacking endzone on forced sideline. Turnover. Really don't like 17's cut. His defender, El-Salaam, is able to poach the main downfield spot, the front cone, the around backfield reset is shut down, leaving very little open, and no one recognizes the poach and the free player at the back of the endzone.
    20:53, sad unforced turn
21:20, disc at own endzone near forced sideline
    23:25, Mixtape zone D
24:42, disc at attacking endzone on forced sideline. Turnover.
25:02, disc at own endzone near forced sideline
    25:39, maybe don't throw that
26:45, disc at attacking endzone on forced sideline.
27:00, disc at attacking endzone on forced sideline. Scores using width of field, breakside.
--> *compare the continuation after this break throw to the previous timestamp instance of disc on sideline. One thing that changed was the timing of the cut. It was _delayed_ a little longer, giving the thrower time. (Another is that the latter instance was thrown more to the center, so the continuation cut started more to the open side and had more break side space to cut to.)
28:57, oof. Bad turnover. Impressive that the rest of the point only takes 5 possessions and 2 players to score going down nearly the whole length of the field without a single huck.
    32:22, lefty scoober assist!
    33:55, Mixtape zone D (2-3-2)
34:11, missed pick call. Really one you wanna call. Even though they were in a zone 1 second earlier, this is still a pick.
36:42, disc at attacking endzone on forced sideline. Turnover
37:20, disc at attacking endzone on forced sideline. Goal.
    38:55, Mixtape zone D (2-3-2)
39:55, such handler movement, much wow
42:10, pretty much a perfect vert stack offense point here. Clean and finished in 3 throws. Everything happens from back of stack.
44:53, that's some bad endzone defense oops. Maybe a brain fart? Completely gave up the open side.
    46:45, oof, another bad turnover
47:24, Disc on forced sideline near attacking endzone. Upline goal. Switch miscommunication? (Really was a great opportunity to switch and shut down the easy options)
54:57, what would've been a better option is throwing a second fake, causing a poach and throwing to the completely free teammate at the back of the endzone. (Scoober?) The front cone is always a highly poached area. The window for his actual throw was way too small (because of receiver's ability).
55:17, disc starting at own endzone near forced sideline. Upline cut from break side handler reset.
56:58, don't quite use width of field in flow to score. But still score (D overcommits to breakside)
1:02:24, uses width of field to score. Wheel breaks force and then a receiver is free bc his defender hadn't anticipated the break and was on the wrong side, and to some extent bc the mark on the thrower of the assist was not tight, couldn't take away the break throw (not guaranteed she would've though).
    1:12:45, *Second Half*
    --> Mixtape zone D
1:13:39, two missed opportunities in a row to use the width of the field to score, first going open side, then going breakside. Not the right continuation happening. With the breakside movement, the tall guy's continuation is too early. He's running before 17 even has the disc and give up _before 17 even has a chance to throw_.
1:18:02, throw couldn't have been more perfect. These drops are tough to watch.
1:19:07, use width of field to score despite being stopped by pick. Almost scored in flow, but still scored immediately upon resuming because of how much they moved the disc to the break side before defenders could orbit.
1:23:29, play with whole team behind disc
1:26:57, Disc at attacking endzone near forced sideline. FOS scoop! Oops.
1:37:16, Disc at attacking endzone near forced sideline, Break reset
1:37:26, Disc at attacking endzone near forced sideline, Goal
    1:40:00, Final point.
    ### Vert FOS movement
56:38, (This move, along with maybe 49:09, made me want to start watching for these cuts. And maybe since that one pro vid analyzing PONY's poachy FOS coverage.)
    1:01:55
    1:02:16,
    1:14:35,
    1:15:44, same as above
1:18:46, takes advantage of D checking shoulder (looking away) and off of a break
--> Gives me an idea for a drill. This is good defense practice.
    1:31:28

1:34:35 doesn’t look like it should be a foul call at all, that looks completely fair
You have to secure your catch, the defender didn’t even lay a hand on him
