I just bought the same 1 but Im ok with it. Ours don't have the interference noise. The reverse squeel is goofy but o well. It's my wife gen7 pro - she likes it.
You need a BEC running directly off the battery. It's just like FPV electronics on drones (camera & VTX) - it cannot share the same circuit as the ESC, motor & servo if you don't want noise.

Was actually quite shocked to see how much static and interference this kit puts out. I was going to ask if anybody has tested it with an individual power supply, but after seeing the other problems, It is not even worth trying.
Gregory Johnston I couldn't agree more mate, I was shocked..realistically you shouldn't have to run an external bec to use something like this sound kit. I kinda figured it was going to be crap and boy was I right haha
The Ess one plus from sense innovations is the way to go mate, they are brilliant units with heaps of sound options and they even make ones that mount up to your trx4
I think so too. I bought the Blue Short Course Brushless 2 WD. With OBA, On Board Audio, then my ESC went bad. Both units are pretty much a set,they need each other They are proud of their ESCs. Yeah. Like $100 +
This will not work on anything using a duel motor system like the Kyosho blizzard. Because you have to stop one motor to get it to turn, that also resets the sound. By adding a capacitor to the unit, that should eliminate that restarting sound. Mine has never had a static problem. My guess is you are using too big of a battery. It may also be something is causing interference to the unit. Yes they are cheap. Mine is plenty loud enough.
Actually you can get some grab stuff off wish, the reason is the company that made the kit, just wanted a quick buck. You can get the ess one plus kit on wish too..

I tried it numerous ways and it has the exact same result every time. Fact of the matter is, it's shit mate... not worth anyone's time or money..
