Antonio was sad in the 1st scene but it didn't quite explain why he was sad. i was thinking that did Solinario and Salanino is right that he's indeed in love with someone? If so, the cause of his sadness is about Bassanio getting married to Portia? So does Antonio really did have a happy ending?

But when Antonio was sad at the beginning of the play he didn’t know about Bassanio’s hopes of marrying Portia yet.
Correct

Hi, what's your question?
@@SchoolingOnline that was the question
Thank you so much I have literally been lost in this play until now
It can be a little confusing! Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed, very much.
Thank you!
I like it and enjoy it.
Shylock is a vampire demon
He is a victim of the brutality of the society he is living in. And these sooo called Christians prejudice
The tragedy is actually when shylock is forced to convert to Christianity and abandon his own religion.
@@lindarosec4076 The power of christ compels you. The only way to exorcise a demon is through christ silly.
