Finally a good and clear summary of Shakespeare's famous tragedy, spoken clearly with the right speed. Many other summaries speak so fast that the ideas get confused. Thank you!
This is wonderful to hear, thank you for the great feedback and taking the time to leave a comment. We appreciate the support!
Welp, actually, nobody getting a happy ending's not true, Cassio becomes the governor of Cyprus and his arch-nemesis is defeated. Pretty nice play if you rooted for Cassio all along.
The Turks actually aren't turned away and return, which the audience at that time would be well aware of. Even tho Cassio takes Othello's place as general, they're all still going to die when the Turks take them off guard. It's a bit of irony in there👍🍊
@@analogueclock4580 That's right. Also, just because he's technically still alive at the end of the play doesn't mean he has a happy ending. He'd accidentally played an instrumental role in a plot that got two of his friends killed. Not a moment of triumph for Cassio.
Anyone else notice that the characters heads are shaped like the first letter of their names
Lol, imagine Cassio waking up and everyone is either dead or arrested after an one-night sleep
imagine waking up and seeing a merchant spitting upon someone in their jewish gabardine!
And the Jew is converted by force too. Knowing the Venetians in Shakespeare plays, Cassio would probably join in the taunting. Nice Merchant of Venice reference.@@lysaali50
This helped me a lot and I could understand everything. I'm Italian and a lot of summaries are too fast for me and without subtitles, so it's very hard for me to understand properly. This is great!
That's so great to hear, thank you for leaving a comment! All the best :)
I hope you know how important and great your videos are. They're incredibly helpful for revising without having to go through the play all over again. The narrator's voice, wording, and pace are perfect to understand easily, and the animations are truly awesome. It's clear and obvious how much effort you put into these videos. Thank you so much!
It means a lot to know there's people out there who appreciate these videos! Thanks for commenting!
I'm currently studying Othello for English, I was looking for a video to summarize the full story and turns out this video helped a lot! Thanks for that.
The ending was completely unexpected.
more info: Othello kisses Desdemona before dying (thats the last thing he does)
And Emilia didn't believe it when Othello told her that Iago told him that Desdemona was cheating on him.
Really you have done a great job . I think this is the best plot summary I found in Othello .
Enjoyable presentation of the plot. Thank you! 🥰

Is it only me who sometimes feels like Shakespeare's characters lacked in common sense...?
@@maramzaim3949 hell yeah! There would be a ton failed marriages if that’s all it takes to convince somebody
@@maramzaim3949 So could a lot of conflicts. But people like to gossip and he said, she said drama starts every day of the week somewhere!
Lack of proper communication of their feelings and conforming the misunderstanding is always lacking .....
