Angelina has worked with KORK(Norwegian Radio Orchestra) three times, twice when she was 10 years old performing this song and Back to Black-Amy Whinehouse cover-and at 17 during the Nobel Peace Prize Concert performing Unchained Melody! She won Norway’s Got Talent with this song when she was eight years old! The maturity in her vocals and the velvety vibrato just puts this performance over the top!

The story behind why she performs barefoot....When she was 6 years old her family was in the Middle East (likely Iran where her grandmother is from). They came across a girl about AJ's age who had a bathroom scale. As people walked by the girl would ask them if they'd like to weigh themselves. When they did, the person would give the little girl some money. The girl had no shoes and scarred feet and was trying to get money to help her poor family. Upon learning that the girl didn't own any shoes AJ took her own shoes off and gave them to the girl. They chatted a while about what they wanted to be when they grew up and became friends. AJ was touched by the experience and vowed to always perform barefoot until all the children in the world have shoes. She has kept that vow ever since. Again....she was 6 years old when she decided to do this!

Summertime is the most recorded song in history. It has been recorded by more singers more times than any other song in history. This is my favorite recording of summertime ♥️

This is one of my favorite performances of all time…it is simply gorgeous-notice how she will sing with her eyes shut and you can see her eyes roll as she closes her eyes-if you read more you will hear about her saying she goes to a special place when she performs. I think she goes back to the galaxy where she comes from….

Nice reaction. This is from the 1935 opera "Porgy and Bess" by George Gershwin. It debuted in Boston, then moved to Broadway. I saw the opera a few years ago in a movie theater simulcast from the New York Metropolitan Opera. The first version of this song to hit the pop charts was by Billie Holiday in 1936. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong recorded a very popular version in 1959.

This song is from famous American composer, George Gershwin, an aria for the opera 'Porgy And Bess' in 1935.

Are you an expert in any forms of music other than 'hip hop'? It would be difficult to discover 'child prodigies' in that genre' so I can understand why you are 'browsing' in other categories. Lucky you have discovered 'hidden gold' and you are in for much, MUCH more if you stay in this 'line of work'. As you know, we live on Earth and the Earth is large so, there's a lot of music as well as many other aspects of life to discover simply because of the volume and history. There is so much to discover even around the relatively small subject of Miss Jordan compared to everything else. She's originally a Norwegian person, born there, in Oslo, the capitol city of Norway, but, not of 'traditional' Norwegian people. Her father is Swedish while her mother is Japanese and Iranian. The maternal Iranian granny is still with them, all except father now in Los Angeles, and she is highly influential over Angelina, being an internationally recognized artist of painting and sculpture. This story can go on and on and I'm sure you may already have heard a lot of it from 'super-fans', so, I'll cut it short, but, it is worth it to study the facts as they are offered to you by the 'super-fans', though some of the story is 'insecure' and needs to become better factually firm, we can still enjoy what is 'generally known' about them, her and her family, despite the 'mysteries', such as, 'how did they come to be in Los Angeles', for one, to which there are several possible answers which I've heard. It is possible there is some truth to each of them, adding up to a 'whole' truth, further down the line. In any case, Miss Jordan, herself, is the real deal, an authentic musical prodigy in the field of singing rather than instruments, although she does play a bit of piano and guitar.

I was noticing today that apparently you did 467 AJ videos a few days ago. It's going to take awhile to catch up and maybe, I wonder, will some people miss them since you released them all at once? I'm sure you're aware of all of that but just thought I should mention it.

Are you brave enough to try a modern classical composer? I'd really like to introduce you to Alma Deutscher. Alma started playing the piano at two years old.The violin a three and composing at four. I'm
sending a link to her performing the third movement of violin concerto that she composed. The nine year old girl you'll be watching wrote every note for every instrument.
