I just found this - are you guys kidding me, that sounds amazing. A little late to this thread. And the amazing thing is this is all borne out of Toronto - I think we need to give more credit to the influences lilsted above. Kudo's to both Ed and Justin for just killing this. It's funny I used to see Ed at some of the local dance shows quite a while back when I was doing video work with dancers. Where can we see you in concert if you still play together?
sean vaughan hi Sean! We don't have this for sale, but I can talk to Justin about making it available. You can also check out Justin Gray and Synthesis, which is a beautiful album. It's on bandcamp and streaming services etc
Hello, this is Justin writing. I designed this instrument, and it was custom built by Canadian Luthier Les Godfrey. A true pleasure to play. it teaches me something new every day:)

Seeing the music being played gives a whole new appreciation and perception to it rather than just listing to it without the video. Amazing!!!

What are those 2 trays next to the tabla player? I see him dip his fingers in it twice.
marco abreo baby powder (talc). It's used as a lubricant of sorts, and to keep the fingers dry.
