Yashwant Vaishnav: Born on 19 January 1993 in Bilaspur, Chattisgarh, Shri Yashwant Vaishnav was initiated into instrumental music by his father, Shri Rajendra Vaishnav. He further received advanced training in tabla under Shri Hemant Sachdev and Shri Mukund Bhale. Presently, he is polishing his art under the tutelage of Shri Yogesh Samsi. Shri Yashwant Vaishnav has received several scholarships including the scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), and the ITC Sangeet Research Academy Scholarship. He has been honoured with prestigious titles from various organizations including the Bal Shree Honour from National Bal Bhavan, and the Kala Vibhuti Samman from Sanskar Bharti. Shri Yashwant Vaishnav is awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi for the year 2016 for his notable talent in the field of Hindustani instrumental music.
Ishaan Ghosh: Ishaan Ghosh is the son and disciple of the Tabla and Sitar maestro Pandit Nayan Ghosh. Ishaan is a Tabla player from the Farrukhabad Gharana. He is the grandson of the 20th-century Tabla player Padmabhushan Pandit Nikhil Ghosh and the grand-nephew of the flautist, Pandit Pannalal Ghosh. His uncle is Pandit Dhruba Ghosh. Ishaan gave his first Tabla solo recital when he was 2 years old. Ghosh has performed with players of Indian classical music including his father Pandit Nayan Ghosh, Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pandit Buddhadev Das Gupta, Ustad Aashish Khan, Ustad Nishat Khan, Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, violin legend Dr. N Rajam, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Rakesh Chaurasia and Purbayan Chatterjee. He was awarded with the ‘Baba Allauddin Khan Yuva Puraskar’ by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in 2012, the ‘Achievement Award’ by President Jimmy Carter in 2016 & the ‘Rising Star Award’ in 2019.

Both players are playing dhir...dhir.. bols in a very fulently with free and flexible hands on tabla .I say they both may have thair an individual identification in indian claasical instrumental musical concerts.Both are wished to be an globe legendary model

The way Yashwant ji recites at 04:50 with rela in continuous drive is such a capability that very few people have...Awesome to see him doing it with an ease, although I am also a big fan of Ishaan Ghosh.
In fact that is one of the most toughest thing to do as a Tabla Student, your hands will play something while your mind will recite something else. I once saw a demonstration by Pandit Suresh TalwalkarJi ... that was even more complex ... the left hand reciting on Jhaanptal ..and the right hand goin on Roopak ... and all of them a re converging on som ... just unbelievable .....

@@geetasaxena1700 Oh, I thought Yashwantji belongs to Punjab Gharana, since his guruji is Yogesh Samsi, who was a disciple of Allah Rakha.
Also, I thought Ishaan Ghosh belongs to Farrukhabad, since Nayan Ghosh is Farrukhabad.
I agree Punjab's style is generally more robust then Delhi. Also, the Dhire Dhire of each person varies widely stylistically.
Because he is 7 years older. 7 years more riyaaz makes a massive difference.

Kya baat hai ! Both are extremely agile and equally clear in their conceptualization and rendition. When this level of talent is performing on stage, it is impossible and totally unnecesssry to say one is better than the other. In my opinion the difference is because of tabla quality.
