As a former member of Twickenham Sea Cadets, T.S Saumarez and having been involved in more Trafalgar Day Parades than I can remember I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this video, it bought back some very fond memories of combining T.S Steadfast from Kingston. I make my home in Arizona U.S.A now and miss my friends from those days quite a bit.
Waited so long to see this. I was in gaurd so this i first time I've seen the display :). Please see this youtube account for a full version of the set up for gaurd on house gaurds parade and the march to the Square
It's because before a parade the Air Cadets use every bit of time available doing drill to make sure that they look really good. When I was a Sea Cadet we didn't do too much of drill and it shows on parades like this. I'm not being biased these are just my observations.
Very good! Out of all of the videos that I have watched of the Massed Bands of the SCC, this is by far the best they have ever looked/sounded! BZ! POC Mackey TS Ulster
I know him as "Gschwindmarsch der Fusstruppen zur Zeit Suworows" (Russia), "Alter Jäger-Marsch" (Prussia), "Marsch der freiwilligen Jäger" (Kingdom of Hannover), "Brandenburger Jägermarsch" (Prussia) and "Sechseleutenmarsch" (Zurich, Switzerland). It's a march from time of the Coalition Wars against Napoleon.

Well think of the people that do and this is the good side of the youngsters who dont hang around on street corners with your help a lot more could be as smart as these youngsters and grow up as model citizens
Much as I love the Naval tradition and cadets tradition that was quite painful to watch with the seemingly rampant inability of young folk to coordinate their movements and stay in step. Thumbs up to the band and guard who were in time. Why is it air cadets always stay in step, though? It's not that hard to listen to a beat, get your foot movement right and have your arms coordinated with the movements. Not to be taken as offensive towards participants mind.

Superb effort. Well done PO Morison, M.M. TS Cromwell Huntingdon Rtd
it is because they loosely follow the drill of the RM Band service as well due them being the nearest service imposing a great influence on them :)
When ever i hear the SCC bands play the Royal Marines Band Service goes in my head i don't know why
