I do believe that relationship , open the door for Uhtred and herself to pursue their relationship, she was no longer a naive girl but a woman ready to be loved and love. Their was two obstacles , she is of Royal line and married to a weasel. We know in that time death was the punshiment for adultery, and she did not disclose the things the weasel had done to her. Aethelflaed love for Uhtred is real but the politics of that time can overwhelmed it all.

I really need you to know that there was an ad for the Dear Evan Hansen movie right before this, and I was super unprepared to handle so much Ben Platt.

What a bad habit she has been for Uhtred. Just recall all the things she has asked of him, wanted him. He took the throne to protect her, she says he’s not right for it ( only right for her), gave her the throne which was more valuable than her relationship with Uhtred And then bargains away his daughter...remember he saved her daughter! I dislike her and never wish them back together. She’s not worthy of Uhtred!!!
