    1. Why can't there be a constitutional monarchy that will have the Messiah as a king and at the same time have an elected Knesset with a Prime Minister? Yehuda Etzion made a compelling case for combining democracy and monarchy. He talked about it with Yoram Ginsburg, an architect that wants to build the Third Temple, is creating a master plan for Jerusalem, and is creating a master plan for a post-annexation Israel called "TAMA 100".
    2. Proportional Representation is way more democratic than First-Past-The-Post, which results in a parliament that doesn't represent the popular vote of the people, a two-party monopoly on politics (ex. Conservative VS Labour; Republican VS Democrat), and reduces competition. Just like in the economy, less competition in politics usually creates worse quality. On the surface level, having local representation seems more democratic but, in reality, those local representatives act as apologists for their party leader, not as independent representatives of their locality. Furthermore, the very existence of local candidates makes it impossible for there to be more than a few viable parties that people would be willing to vote for, since the non-establishment parties would simply result in spoiled ballots. In practice, proportional representation (aka % of popular vote = % of seats in the parliament) gives way more power to the people to influence their country's politics.
    3. Democracy is a good thing. I don't see why you would reject it altogether instead of it making it complementary to the Messiah. Saying that "things are not working, so let's get rid of democracy altogether" is just about the worst thing you could say. This is word-by-word the reasoning that enables autocracies to replace democracies. I understand that you believe that monarchies should abide by the law and should not have unlimited power, but your reasoning is flawed.

Netanhayu, with all his faults, in particular, too often giving in to a malevolent Left, is much, more than head and shoulders above any one else with a political base [which is important]. He also does have good points as well.

First we must remember what true Torah really is versus our religion we've developed since Bavli. We must also realize things are bad and our enemies are coming against us because we have failed to obey Ha Kadosh Barchu. And if we were wise we'd have a Kohen gadol instead of a chief Rabbi and instead of a prime minister a king bound by the Torah.

To show respect and awe, as in the presence of a King who has complete control the words chosen must be carefully found to even open a dialog, where favor or condemnation is at the whim, of the king.
Fear of his power, but also love of his rule. This comes by seeing his court and His kingdom, this ordered matrix, the conduct and countenance perceived from essence, and the people he rules over. This is the form of the essence we use to describe the qualities and attributes. In verbs, allegory symbolism adjectives are like something but do not describe an actuality by personal (accounts), irrefutable evidence of an encounter which will never be attributed to anything, hoped for comes order, rule.

Differentiating between democracy (understood as mob rule as opposed to rule of few (oligarchy) and rule of one types in an Aristotilian framework) and republic; i think the only (purely) democratic institution Im hard pressed find fault with as a tool in the toolbox ready to call upon is a plebiscite. Because the faces of government have with some degree of apparent humbleness admitted their ignorance/incompetence in regard to this particular issue-- and are begging for wisdom in a way. Great potential in the plebiscite I think. And parliament seems, at least, in a general way, to fit certain nations. Ive often mused on the feasibility of an ethnic or religious parliament-- for example, Ive always been fascinated by the Lebanese confessional system of government-- and not that Ive studied Lebanon much but it seems like most often the overwhelming problem with the government is not being strong enuf to crush the defacto power structure: the cornucopia of Holy Land Arab Nazism which has spread to the rest Arab world in general, to some degree.

The gains that have been made are in the areas where Israel ignored pressure and moved ahead on its own. Once such a direction is taken and the results are in, those who said no and were prepared to keep worrying at the problem indefinitely are left dealing with a new situation. This gives them something new to resist progress on; but it leaves Israel in a better position, one which essentially sets new rules of engagement. Let's look at one aspect of the situation realistically. The enemy had long ago achieved maximum hate, maximum barbarism, and a maximum effort at international judgment against Israel. There really was no way to get worse treatment. Now, with each additional step forward, there are those who once again give false counsel, advising that this and that and the other thing will get worse. How much worse could it get? The spectrum has been covered. The time is to take action, to leave trepidation behind. One step forward and two steps back will not get us anywhere.
