I like my all most stock ecx crawler.I have the first one of them also.I did put super swamper rims and tires on it.Also on the light i put a on and off switch for not having to have the lights on during the day.I am really surprised there is not more videos on these crawler? I think for the price what a deal. Thanks for the video.Stay safe.☮
I just finished a gen 1 temper comp build. Full droop, ae5 ESC and 2s 2k lipo with a tactic metal gear servo. Metal wrapped front wheels and a losi mrc carbon servo and battery mount with weight on the battery side. It can flex and lay axle 90 degrees while other axle still touches ground. Just trying to find a set of wheels and tires to finish it off
120 mm shocks will give you 90 degrees of flex I went 100 mm and almost have 90, I also want to do 4 wheel steering, but I waiting to burn the electrical up first. Before I rebuild the whole thing, bend your steering bar it dose help a lot even with 100mm shocks you’ll have no issue
I used the 100 mm super lifts fit great some modifications required to mount them if I did it again I would go 110 mm the you might end up with 90 degrees of flex
Hey brotha I had a quick question my uncle passed away and I ended up getting his R/C and slot car collection but he had a temper 2 ECX and I'm having the same problem with the stock receiver/speed controller it's not enough power coming from the stock battery the car came with when Im steering the wheels the LED lights cut out I also lose power and the car dies super fast what do you recommend I do? buy a new speed controller and battery?

Make a second video of the new chassis brother.
Hi pal. Great vid. Question for you. How do you remove the hex wheel hub? I was going to put metal steering knuckles
Nice, I'm thinking of running full droop on mine and just some 20wt oil to control the flop a bit. I wanna see this thing run!
Just got one myself. Is this the stock shocks you take the spring off of?
What wheels and tires are u using. And is there a way to use metal gears for tran.
Sad there was no follow up video...
Wait...no springs on the shocks?
