Haha, ya that z/28 was definitely my favorite. The power band is so different compared to the SS1LE and it was a much more raw experience as well.I feel like I got tunnel vision driving it wide open throttle because the torque was so sudden in the low end of the rpm range
I love my '14 Z/28! Awesome collector car as they only made about 500. I'm hesitant to modify because it coulde devalue...Although I could keep the stock parts...HMMMM

I agree. The kooks exhaust was also I little quite. It sounded like it was going to be loud while idling but wasn’t quite as loud as you expected it to be while under hard acceleration
@0ctane0bsessed I like the quiet at idle actually brings less attention to it and you can keep it quiet when needed i thought it was plenty loud when they step in it sounds really good I'm glad they didn't go choppy with the cam I like lope over chop
I’m contemplating in getting a z28, reason why is I hear 7liters have that valve drop issue… question, if I were to replace the heads with new tsp heads would that solve that issue?? Or would I still need to be checking my valve specs every couple thousand miles??
New heads will solve the issue, or get your factory heads worked on. Valve guides and seats will solve the problem but while you’re there, you might as well completely redo the heads with new springs, valves etc and maybe even port it

its not about the "sound" as much as selecting a correct cam for the supporting mods.
