Not very economically feasible. I suppose you can do it, but I defeats the purpose of it being an airplane. It wouldn’t make a great boat. It’s also cheaper to just use a boat

+Jonn Nope!! One of the requirements of purchase is that you not know how to fly it. The other requirement is that you take-out a $1 million dollar life insurance with ICON Aircraft listed as the sole beneficiary. *ENJOY!*
@@NETBotic yes I did it in Minnesota. You can rent it and go up with an instructor and he will teach you how to water land if you are interested and no you do not even have to be a buyer you can do it just for the experience I will say it’s a bit pricey
When you make this plane as it is with the same technology as the British Harrier with vertical lift, you will have a real winner!!! Imagine launching on a runway, on the water and your own backyard!!!
A5 would be pretty neat if it had a higher useable load... Need room for fishing gear and at least 2 more people... I guess it wouldn't be a light sport aircraft then.

They are definitely expensive I heard you can take out loans for airplanes like some kind of airplane loan. I myself just bought a sonex b because it was cheap and very cheap to maintain mine has the turbo volts wagon motor that sonex offered. I can do all the maintenance myself I can literally drop the motor out of the plane in about 20 minutes rebuild it in a night and put it back in if the inspector finds anything wrong
@@teamgo9980 honestly, you make the right and smart choice... the icon 5 can look futuriste and kind of apple, DJI generation, but the price its insane to me, its a 400k seedoo !!!!! yes its a seadoo with wings that's all ! with 400k we can have a serious aircraft.
