I wonder if you were speaking of rumble strip noise? I have this noise and have had the drive shaft replaced but it didn't fix the RSN. I had it to a drive train shop 3 times and they did a few things and I still have rumble strip noise. This noise is heard at low speed. They basically told me they don't know what it is and that the van is to old to worry about. What they dont understand is I have about 25,000.00 of wheelchair equipment that would be a fortune to have put in another vehicle. So we live with rumble strip noise. Thanks for all your information! I am learning more and more about my van and hope to take care of the problems that come up myself. It is really hard to find people who can take care of it for some reason.

Hi, I have a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500. 2.7. Its a 140" wheelbase. I hear the RSN at low speeds when driving in town and when slowing down to stop for a light etc. I have had several mechanics listen to it and they just have no idea what it is. One thought it was a u joint and I agreed with him because it is similar, then I found out you have to replace the drive shaft to replace a u joint! I did that and it did not fix the problem. The drive train place had it in 3 times and still no fix. I can't remeber what they did but I think it was a pinion change or somthing like that in the rear end. But I think they took it out again because it didn't make a differentce.

If you have a similar RSN noise and you feel it through the steering wheel and body of the van at low speeds ONLY, like coming to a stop, or driving in traffic with stop and go situations, it is the torque converter clutch that is creating that RSN. If it does it also at hight speeds might be something else. I will post a video in the next post on how you can fix that.
No air coming from injectors exhaust is fine no puffing noise and no break in seals I will find this issue I think it's egr or something around turbo as I don't think turbo working
hi Zimaleta as usual top vid.i have problem with my vito exhaust smoke that realy chokes me out and smells terrible cough cough .when driving there no smoke but when I stop at traffic light or just in traffic and then pull away it chucks out smoke .I got no warning lights and no codes .is this egr or turbo or something different?if you or anyone else have some advise would realy appreciate help thanks a lot chippie paul
I know exactly what it is, you have a bad fuel injector seal and it’s leaving, first you start smelling it inside it’s really bad smell, your probably driving with windows open, smoke is coming from plastic cover under fuel injectors and sadly this is Black Death 💀 problem, but don’t be alarmed it’s nothing wrong with fuel injector and yes no check engine light, but you will need to open plastic fuel injector cover and inspect for black looking tar, witch fuel injector it’s combing from, then remove the fuel injector and clean everything, use new seal, it’s copper, but make sure you buy it from Mercedes Original, in one Injector Video I explain proper way to install it, you need special geese but you can use same stuff for spark plugs and put grease on body of the Injector, but to remove fuel injector might be a major problem, usually they are really stuck, so I recommend doing this job while it’s hot, and maybe just maybe, remove the fuel injector hold down bolt but not the fuel lines and start up the van, hopefully heat of the engine can melt the tar and pressure can push injector out, this might be dangerous so cover it with something so it don’t shoot out, but if your injector is stuck you will need fuel injector pull tool, I have this link in every video Description, sadly to pull it you need to take Injector apart and might need a new Injector

It’s a common Sprinter problem, how ever my Sprinter that I drive does not have this problem right now, but I did experience it in many forms, black smoke comes from Dirty Fuel Injectors, Power Los normalcy is cause by a boost leak, like bad resonator, or a hole in a pipe, but sometimes it’s just bad EGR, cleaning it can help, but does not always fix the problem, there is a way to hack the EGR but I don’t have the time to try this hack yet, also pore Power then black smoke and Sprinter takes off fast can be a sighn of a bad Turbo Vains, they don’t open or open late, keeping exhaust gases from escaping and cause bad performance because turbo can’t spin and the engine can’t breathe, hope this helps

That’s good news, check metal clamp on the turbo that holds the down pipe, maybe it’s lose and your getting Exhaust gases inside the cabin

I did not buy mine, I own 6 sprinters so I have plenty of parts on hand, eventually I am thinking of selling used Sprinter parts
