some quick tips: 1) you can reach over the “counter bar” - as in, if there is a counter on the right of the bar, you are able to reach it from the left of the bar; 2) you can reach from corners; 3) before you start each day, you will see the number of people that will show up, along with the group sizes - so you never need more than two seats per table unless you take an upgrade for group size. (edit: I saw you noticed this around 33:05) 4) customers do not care about messes at all, they just hinder your maneuverability.
i would love to see more of this game! I'm so thankful that i found your channel, i love rogue likes and the fact that you play so many that ive never heard of makes my day even better!
Tips: Place objects and blueprints outside the restaurant to "sell" them or more like chuck them, mainly things you already own. Use counters between kitchen and dining room for quicker service to that area of the dining room although the set up made here was decent for one player since the doors are your biggest enemy. Always worth upgrading something and taking an upgrade over an already existing item I.e the sink. The tables didn't work with 2 napkins because it treats it as if used as a counter once the first napkin is down, this mechanic is useful since you can place a plate on a table near the people you are serving and get the other one for much closer double serves, also allows you to put something down temporarily on customer table when out of counter space. Upgrading an item can produce different things each time for example the sink upgraded can become 1 of 2 maybe 3 types of sink, one is an automatic sink, if you get the upgrade you don't want, chuck the upgrade and wait for another sink to try upgrading or for it to RNG spawn between rounds. Objects work differently then expected sometimes which is worth trying to find out, a mixer can cut a tomato for you to make sliced and then tomato sauce, it can also cut anything else. You can boil potatoes and broccoli in the microwave oven not just cook pizza.
Very fun! I thought you would have lost at the potato salad for sure but you proved me wrong, awesome job! I always find it such a struggle and I've had some practice... I would love to see more.
Quiet sure someone May have said this but my guess with the napkins is they do prevent messes. The issue messes kept happening is Because you needed to provide a new napkin for when you gave them coffee. Is my guess
You've been doing so many card-based games I kept wondering where the deck was going to come in. It took me WAY too long to remember "roguelike" doesn't mean desk builder 🤣
Well, this is the 4th game you've convinced me to buy. Wish this and Backpack Hero were in your Nexus store so you could get a cut! Really hoping you do a longer series on this, it was an absolute blast so far.
breaking news : local man don't understand perspective, forgot what counterbars are used for. more at 7. but yeah, just like overcooked, this game is basically impossible solo
@@Retromation - I disagree. It might be deeper in some ways - but the overall package is boring. I mean, they didn’t even take the time to put a pan in their game… they could put a pot in the game - but not a pan… these are just blobs with busy work attached to it. You change the stage - but only slightly - and not really to give you a new or fresh atmosphere. Overcooked had more stage magic and a lot more going on with it through multiplayer.
Ah, huge disagree on those points but that is okay. This is coming from someone who loves Overcooked... the level gimmicks were _by far_ my least favorite part of it, and you could say the same thing about this game re: co-op shenanigans. This game has multiple stage and menu options you can start with and we only got 1/3rd through _one_ run, so I think this is premature critique. Honestly the game is so much less frustrating without a pan as well, so good riddance imo.
i would adore a long play with the rest of the wholesomeverse
sounds like chaos
Yeah, we need a 4-player wholesomeverse runthrough series, true overcooked chaos style.
Man, that potato salad is no joke. Holy cow
agreed

That’s good to know, I guess they don’t mind dining in filth 😂
I was wondering who was gonna tell him about the pass...
This game looks great, I would love to see you play more of it!

This game is great! I’d love to see a series on this channel
For real This game is so addictive, even watching it is addicting
I swear it would be the "Retraurant" but Restaurantmation made me laugh out loud
I'm really excited to see what they added, i've had this on my wishlist since the first video.
I love this game so much. would definitely wanna see more !
I would have went with Restaurmation, but you do you, Reto!
Been waiting for you to play this. Thanks! Would love to see you play this on multiplayer!
Quiet sure someone May have said this but my guess with the napkins is they do prevent messes. The issue messes kept happening is Because you needed to provide a new napkin for when you gave them coffee. Is my guess
would love to see more of this game
Coming back to watch the start of this games journey after your already a pro hits different.
The napkins are for one plate so the coffee mess is considered a 2nd plate
I'm really looking forward to a roguelike of playing as a motel staff cleaning hotel rooms. I think it would be amazing and riveting!
I would love to see more of this game. Also multiplayer with wholesomeverse is a good idea, especially with olenki

The game looks like fun, I would love to see more!
Ive played so much of this the past week or so. I really enjoy it multiplayer.
belly laughed when you read the process to create potato salad after regular ol lettuce salad
Id love to see more
I'd love to see more of this
restaurantmation is almost restaurant-nation so would say yeah ... it surprisingly rolls of the tongue
The napkin is being used up in the first dish then they leave a mess because of the coffee.
This looks really good haha. Loving what I see!
Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase play more of this!
would love to see more of this with or without multiplayer
Would love to see you running around like a madman beefing it up...
would love to see a four player multiplayer of this ngl, but also would love to see you do this solo.
Please play more with this, if you need a +1 I'd be happy to be your sous!
I would also like to see more! Either Solo or with others, maybe even both? ❤️
I want to see more!
Yeah, I'm gonna request a "Plate"through
New series or mini series?
we need a multiplayer lp of this
Did any other former line cooks get ptsd from this?
Would there be a multiplayer series?
Been playing this since it’s release and love it but this is a definitely a game to be played with a group, very difficult playing solo
Ah yes, the devs have figured out how to make overcooked… but even MORE stressful!!!
More please!
More with multiplayer hopefully!
You HAVE to play this with someone else. The game is more than twice as fun with a second player, and exponentially more with even more people.
We want to see more
missed opportunity with the name there. Should have went with Restomation.
Overcooked is amazing but I think the difficulty ramps up a bit too quickly.
Moar potato salad
Please play this game with the Wholesomeverse
Great now i want some fish & chips lol
breaking news : local man don't understand perspective, forgot what counterbars are used for. more at 7.
but yeah, just like overcooked, this game is basically impossible solo
It’s pretty good, I’d like to see more, but preferably with a partner
man i'd love a switch port! My pc cannot handle much xD
I want to see more
Play this with a buddy
More!!!
Moar please!
play this game more please and it will be cooll if you play with aother youtubers like Rhapsody please
rouglike overcooked
This relinds me of overcooked
Second I guess.
Retroraunt :(
First lol
I dunno - it looks pretty boring compared to overcooked and such.
It's literally just the same thing but way deeper. Are you sure you aren't thinking that because this is a solo run and overcooked is always 2+?
