In trading blows, both superstars can trade multiple punches aggressively like a real fight. Real improvement.

The ONLY thing that ticked me off was how long it takes for the ref to start counting pins.
this has been one of my biggest issues for years. it breaks the immersion every time.

i suddenly remember the career mode of smackdown vs raw 2005 where u must be a special referee, i counted it so fast and it was hilarious 😂. glad they add this feature back in this game

@@xx__xx9822Yeah they are money grabbers like EA why implement all the options and sell it to you once when they can pick and choose and sell you a new game every year. Its disgusting really because other than new graphics and rosters the games are nowhere near as good as the THQ games.
@@xx__xx9822 developing for todays standards takes years upon years of development. Im not defending 2k, but since they keep releasing yearly all they can do is add 1-2 new things then the next thing will be added next year. If inly they take their time with it and develop for long term. I wish they could do that for all sports series

It just kills the immersion when a Wrestler jumps up like its nothing after a long, tiring match. Good thing they fixed it

@@RugBug18 you ain’t getting that rumble cam, real refs, blood stains, or throwing weapons without that game releasing though. not saying it was a groundbreaking game but 2k took notes
They just need optional chain wrestling and for me it’s the perfect wrestling game. I believe that the trading blows mini game implemented is a sort of test for a system that will later be used with chain wrestling, whether it be a later update with this game or 2k25.
most of these features were in either 2k19 or the games before that, I'm tired of 2k getting praised for things that should've never left the games in the first place.
They revamped the entire gameplay system three games ago. It's basically a whole new franchise and I'm sure they wanted to make sure they perfected this new formula before adding everything to it.
A lot of things are new in 2k tho. You acting like 2k made the older games

Overall, this game might be 2K’s 2nd best WWE game aside from 19 and 14 (if you count that)

@@RickRossBigBoss Ehh I wouldn’t say it’s better than both as 19 had the most accurate irl gameplay while 14 had a better roster and also showcase mode (actually covered all the WMs), but 24 is def I would say their 2nd best if we don’t count 14 considering 2K picked the game up by the time the game was about 75% completed. I just wish they brought back OMGs at least and also added a few more matches to Showcase as they skipped over half of the RA and the early PG era (they could included Batista vs H at WM 21 or Undertaker vs H at WM 28)

i like the concept of trading blows (ayo) but your charchacter shakes and so the ui for the green also shakes, so its hard to hit it
Man it be these small details that make a big ass difference.
Are these "small" details really worth splashing 70 bucks every year tho? Especially when they could've put all these things into 2k22 to begin with.

@mannymoney1443 exactly. The older titles still had more features too. Chain wrestling, promos, show intros, body sculpting for caws, quick grapples etc.

That elevator gimmick looks so goofy lol. They could've at least included fight animations through that whole sequence of getting in and out of the elevator.

All it needs now is to bring back create a story/custom story mode. Seriously, with the online community potential it gives those games so much replayability value. If 2k have to bring back one mode and make it worth, its this one. It would be an instant sucess i cannot understand how they didnt try to bring it back yet

i hope they bring back a full PLE set to WWE 2k25 GM-Mode with E-Chamber, Royal Rumble, etc.. They do need to at passive dmg from objects that lying around in ring. like extra dmg if you suplex the opponent onto a chair that is lying on ground
if they add a Custom finisher to wwe2k24 ' it'll be the Wrestling Game of our lifetime ' for years to come.

Still have collar and elbow tie up before every front facing grapple, Irish whip, and drag. Really kills the immersion. Game has potential but that’s such an eyesore for me. Tie ups should only occur at the beginning of the match and have a limit. Keep the combo system. Overhaul grappling/dragging system. Bring back chain wrestling.

But there's a bad thing and it seems they haven't added new pass out animations (for Hell's Gate, Hurt Lock and Kirifuda Clutch). I haven't played it yet and don't know if they've added or not. Can you make a video about the pass out animations in 2K24? I hope there are numerous new pass out animations in this game.

Is there a lore reason why Custom story mode was not brought back in WWE 2K24? Are the devs lazy? Did they forgot? Are they stupid?
ref still takes forever to start counting the pinfall. he needs to just drop where he is and start the count. not this crap where he stalls for no reason or gets "stuck" on something and can't start the count. wrestlers when hitting a tired finisher roll over immediately. why? just let them lay there for a min like.. real life? elbow drop through the announce table, gets up immediately. yokozuna picked up and thrown effortlessly. some of this looks good but other things are just silly and stupid and things that shouldve been changed forever ago. not sure if worth buying.

This is so damn lazy from 2k. A lot of these features were present in older games and are now supposedly improvements.
For me the online is really bad, couldn’t even play with my friend because he kept getting kicked off and out of the game before we even get to play

graphics are nice and all but the major thing i wonder if they fixed the online multiplayer better than 2k23, 2k23 used crash alot or kicked you off a match and replace you with AI , you couldn't even play in a match for no more than 20 seconds

In the game menu, in the game options section, you can change the shape of the pin, that is, you can leave the line still. In 2k23 you could also change it. I always leave the line still
