So ultra Q isnt “really” part of ultraman, kinda.
Ultra Q was made to be a kind of “japanese twilight zone”, completely episodic with creature of the week science fiction stories but one idea they had felt too big for just one episode, a hero from space chasing a monster to earth, and so they created ultraman
