It’s not coming for a few years. I agree that Black Panther would’ve been that guy. But the most realistic selections, we haven’t even got a casting announcement for. Legitimately Reed Richards is the next face of the MCU. Then you would have Charles Xavier. Those 2 characters have to be perfectly cast and they provide all the support the universe needs going forward both cosmically and on Earth.
Well them and Cyclops and Wolverine. And Spidey.
Blue Marvel and Sam Wilson Captain America are the two characters that should lead the MCU. Introduce Blue Marvel in The Marvels, do a solo film on Blue Marvel, bring him into the Avengers and be one of their heavy hitters. And for Sam, he's obviously the leader of the group and remember he has no powers, no super soldier serum, none of that. He's just a guy with an advanced suit and shield made by the Wakandans. And you can create a bond with Sam and Adam and that Adam Brashear respects Sam for stepping up and becoming the new Captain America and not for taking in a super soldier program. While Sam respects Adam Brashear for knowing about his story and how he was dicked over by the US government back in the day because he was a black guy. You can create something nice between those two. And you can have Adam Brashear meet Isaiah Bradley and you can have Isaiah absolutely despise Adam, because in Isaiah's eyes he sees Adam as a traitor or something like that and you can create a beautiful and intense scene between these three guys. And with the threat of Kang looming in the background, that's where Adam's intelligence comes into play, working with the Shuri, Smart Hulk, Riri Williams, Hank Pym, Reed Richards and Dr Strange, becoming the Illuminati, working in secret.
Sam series was 6/10. No one was telling people in work about it unlike some of the other marvel series.

No. You’re just saying that cuz you’re black. Sam Wilson isn’t a strong enough character to hold his own movie. Blue Marvel is too obscure and again not a strong enough character to hold his own movie. It needs to be Spider-Man, Reed Richards or Professor X or Cyclops or Wolverine.
Blue Marvel is an underdeveloped character in the Comics, he shouldn’t even lead the MCU. At best he can lead his own team of Ultimates down the line but He isn’t even ready for that. I hope you didn’t suggest him just because he’s black. Black Panther T’challa is a great choice and is one of the most organic progression for the MCU, he ticks all boxes. Obviously Chadwick Boseman’s death puts this project into question however some of these guys can lead their own teams like Sam can lead a west coast avengers or something and BM should either be Assistant to Uatu The Watcher or progressively join a superhero team where his powers can flourish.
Spiderman is an interesting choice, but with Sony holding him hostage I don't see it. I think the fans would resonate more with someone they've become emotionally invested in already, from the Infinity Saga.....so, in that case I think the obvious choice would be Captain Falcon/Anthony Mackie 🤔
I think that Tom Holland Spider-Man would probably be the best choice if it were possible. And that caveat is the only thing keeping it from happening. Marvel just isn't allowed to do it because of a Faustian bargain that they had to make years ago. It's so unfortunate that Sony is doing this but it's what's happening. You can even see that they wrote far from home to allow him to be the leader in case they were able to buy the rights to Spider-Man back. I'm pretty sure Chadwick Boseman was still alive when far from home came out so you could make the argument that I'm wrong about that writing, but to me it's clear that they wanted him as an option.
I agree with you about Spidey
While Spider-Man is (and was) a great option as a leader of the Avengers, the events of "No Way Home" showed us that he still has a LOT to learn and lest we forget he still a teenager during "Infinity War" (17 years old, probably 18 during "Far From Home" and "No Way Home")
Marvel needs to recast T'Challa aka Black Panther
I think daredevil would be an interesting choice: He's relatively grounded, but has also shown to be able to go toe to toe with Heavy Hitters like She Hulk. He's a conflicted character and the exploration of his religious side would be interesting. Also Charlie Cox's interpretation is loved by many fans.
I feel like that's the point of phase 4. When someone important to that universe dies or moves on, sometimes things get scattered. That's just a natural thing tbh. So maybe phase 5 and 6 will achieve it since everything will have hopefully toned town. The mcu is dealing with quite a lot since the avengers broke apart anyway

There shouldn't just inherently be a leader. We need some sort of event to get everybody back together. The avengers were still quite divided at the beginning of infinity war. Just because endgame brought them together, doesn't mean the events of civil or are forgotten. There needs to be an event that brings them back together. However, I feel like Kang is a very odd way to do this. I don't see there being a avengers team with a leader until after the Young avengers have to save their parents and reunite them as Earth's mightiest heroes.
Reed Richards/Prof X for earth, bring in Blue Marvel + captain Marvel for the Comsic, Dr. Strange and Wong for the magic side. The “Big” movies would see an interlacing of these three factions. Though the Mutant’s are either going to be heavily nerfed or the roster is going to be gutted because they’re OP and the MCU’s got a history of wet noodle-ing it’s best villains
I would think that the master of time would choose to attack the avengers when they are most scattered and leaderless. I believe that this scattered feeling is intentional on marvel’s part
I think Nick Fury gonna rally the troops again. But since Chadwick is gone (RIP Brother) I really don’t know who’s gonna be the leader of the troops. 🤷🏽♂️
I think that Don Cheadle’s War Machine and Anthony Mackie’s Captain America could come together to lead the MCU.
Captain Marvel just needs some tweaking and she’ll be fine.
If they can save the Fantastic Four & X-Men and write a great Reed Richards & Prof X then I think they’ll be sitting pretty great.

Blue Marvel, Deadpool or Fantastic Krasinski. Since Eddie Brock is to much to ask for. Follow the recent venom runs. Have him become cosmic venom and step into a leadership role as he officially joins the avengers after defeating Knull and then move to Dylan Brock being the new Tom Holland character in terms of popularity. Have it be about Eddie Brock accepting he's a hero after venom 3
Feige mentioned in a interview a year or two ago that Iron Man was the face of the infinity saga and that Dr Strange is the face of the multiverse saga.
That's true, and both he and Loki (along with Tom Holland's Spider-Man) have experience with the Multiverse (however little it is)
I know they announced Avengers movie coming in the next phase but as of now are the Avengers even still a group. Stark gone, Cap gone, Wanda gone, Vision gone, Natasha gone.
Phase 4 could have had Spidey as a leader or at least the mascot. But the problem is he’s owned by Sony. They need to recast Black Panther

From my understanding, they can’t do that until 2025 when contracts expire.
I don’t think they are going that route, it seems like they are forming several different teams, so its more or less going to be a favorite for each team.

i def did not see them making BP the face that feels like copium tbh. it should remain open when watching the avengers saga and build up movies sure iron man was the "FACE" and cap was another face but it never felt like that they stood out a bit more as poster boys but never LEADERS of the mcu and it should stay this way or atleast use bruce and some other OGs of the mcu untill its time for them to pass the torch to someone who earned it

In the best possible world, spider-man is the top pick, but we don't live in that world. In the world that we live in Spider-Man is being held hostage by a company that can't manage to make a movie that's been handed to them on a silver platter.
It's like a game of golf where Marvel has hit the drive and it lands like 2 ft from the hole and all Sony has to do is get the ball 2 feet in the right direction and it's in the hole. But they can't do it, *and* it's like a par 999

The Hulk was killed by Banner.....off screen ....to professor HULK is it a mix cos it does not seem to be 50% Hulk.
