- This Video is about restoration of 5UP and 6DN Green Line Express Train with new chinese CRRC TANGSHAN passenger coaches
Green line train was suspended since 5 months due to flooding in Pakistan,
Green line express is restored with New Rake composition having ac business class, AC Standard class, Economy class and Parlour Car coaches are also included in Green line express train
I booked Parlour Car seat to travel Karachi Cantt Railway Station from Margala Station Islamabad,
I paid 8500 Rs for single seat, all complementary services are included in seat fare,
Green line express took its first run on 27th January 2023

What is fare for senior citizens?
During a long journey as this one, how on earth the authorities don’t realize that people have to eat. I’ve traveled on Amtrak from Chicago to Denver. Not only they have observation car but an excellent dining car and a cafe for all passengers to have excellent quality food service, with manus. Pakistan is a poor country but they can add dinning cars for people to have some food. If not traveling on business class, at least they can buy food from the cafe when they are hungry. It’s all about who they select as the caterers, and strictly controlling the quality.
Well in developing countries like India and Pakistan railways are more focused on revenue.Adding one extra coach for dining they not only losses tickets revenue they also reduces the haulage capacity of locomotive...
In India Rather than using Pantry car or dining car Railway now focusing on Base kitchen model where they board the food from some base kitchens.

You mentioned vande Bharat train in comparison of Greenline's parlor car. Please don't forget to mention that there is huge difference of speed between 2 rails also. Vande Bharat is traveling on average speed of 180 to 200 K.meters per hour.

Please Ask the Railways Minister, to create a washng line/ yard at the Margalla Railway Station Islamabad; so that train has not to return to Rawalpindi, and the train is washed , in ISLAMABAD.

Indian Bullet train project - 300km\hr
NCRT semi high-speed rail - 200km\hr
Vandebharat -200km\hr
Tejas Express -180km\hr
Gatimaan express -160km\hr
All Rajadhani , Duranto , Shatabdi at the speed of 140km\hr
So upgrading the track is helpful for you .
@Ejaz Ahmed Gatimaan Express runs @160kmph between Faridabad and Agra, Bhopal Shatabdi runs @150kmph between Faridabad and Agra, NCRT had conducted its trials of Delhi - Meerut RRTS and reached 160kmph, Tejas Express and Tejas Rajdhani Express with WAP5 loco can run @200kmph, Vande Bharat Express V.2 reached 180kmph on its trials reaching 0 to 100 within 52 seconds ( acceleration faster than Japanese Bullet Train )
All of them are made in India...

آپکو یاد ھو گا پارلر کار اس سے قبل شالیمار لاھور کراچی اور سپر ایکپریس سرگودھا سے کراچی کے درمیان میں بھی لگایا جاتا رھا ھے جو کہ سپر ایکپریس میں ناکام ہی رھا تھا وجہ وہی تھی کہ سفر بہت لمبا تھا بندہ بہت تھک جاتا تھا

Vande Bharath will travel from origin stop to Destination stop and return backend where it is origin stop. So mostly one turn it will travel 7-8hrs like shatabdi module..
