Wow… I didn’t know they were such complicated relatives.
Yes there are several different types and they seem so different
@@DynamicEarthLearning Red Panda & Giant Panda are two very different animals, Red Panda form their own family in the bigger racoon family, whereas Giant Panda belongs to Bear family.
They were called panda because both species eat bamboo, but with DNA, we know now they are not even in the same family group.
He said four pandas he just wrote 3
There are two types of red pandas
I don't want pandas extinct 😭😭😭😢😢😢

yes i want to help ,helping is good
i want to make panda as common as cats or dogs, enough to have stray on streets
LOL, well that'd make them more plentiful. Thanks for the comment.
nooooo why does the quinling pandas gotta die:(DX btw ur smart
Qinling Panda is not going to be extinct, there were 345 wild Qinling Pandas in the last survey conducted during the last decade. And genetically, Qinling Panda are quite diverse, so there is no major problem there too.
As long as the habitats of wild Qinling Panda are protected and no major natural disaster befall on these wild Qinling Pandas, it is expected that wild Qinling Panda will grow further.
Anyway the fifth survey of the wild Giant Pandas has just started initial work, we will know how many wild Giant Pandas in China in a few years time.
Successful breeding programs that wouldn’t be needed if they didn’t eat everything.
Interesting....I'll have to read more about food scarcity
