The new Volkswagen Golf Variant redefines the segment of compact space wonders with a fresh design dynamic featuring maximum aerodynamics, a distinctive front end, and a powerful shoulder section in the style of a Shooting Brake. It offers more variability and comfort than its predecessor, boasting over 1,642 litres of luggage compartment volume and significantly more passenger legroom. At launch this November, three economical engines will be available―a mild hybrid (eTSI) with 81 kW (110 PS) and 48-volt technology, two twin dosing turbodiesels (TDI) with 85 kW (115 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS), as well as three petrol engines with 66 kW (90 PS), 96 kW (130 PS), and 110 kW (150 PS). The mild hybrids feature an eTSI with 96 kW and 110 kW. As efficient as they are powerful, all engines meet the latest Euro 6d-ISC-FCM emissions standard.
The interior experience has been completely revolutionized through digital touch panels, touch sliders, screens that perform the function of conventional buttons and analogue displays―all of which make up the perfect ergonomic design. An optional head-up display projects important information onto the windscreen for a truly modern driving experience. With such technological advancement combined with exceptional fuel consumption figures reaching up to 4.3 l/100 km in combined driving conditions and a theoretical range of 1,220 kilometres; the Volkswagen Golf Variant is set to impress drivers everywhere!
