I’m tearing up because your story is my story. I happened upon this video for a reason 🙏🏻 I can’t wait for the day to be validated about the PCOS symptoms I’m experiencing. Not one doctor has ever mentioned a hormonal imbalance, the need for an ultrasound or the correlation to nutrition. I’ve been told the same BS excuses. Looking 7 months pregnant from extreme bloat in the pelvis when you weigh 120lbs is NOT normal. Why aren’t doctors more aware of the signs of PCOS??? Why is there so much resistance to find the truth??
Thank you for listening and sharing your story. Dr. A started a PCOS platform called Ovii.com if you are interested in more information! You can find more on socials @oviihealth.
I have PCOS and I was excited to look at an informative website, hopefully linking it to various academic studies, with tips and advice, ready to learn something! But of course it is a supplement website with the most superficial list of symptoms. I appreciate the awareness that this podcasts provides to PCOS, I think that's amazing, but what people need is a public healthcare available for everyone, not another money factory of unnecessary supplements that takes advantage of vulnerable communities. I guess that's just the American way@SHEMDPodcast
I’m 17 years old and I got my first period at 16 years old, since then I have been having regular periods, up until these last 2 months, where it just disappeared, I also have other symptoms, such as mild, under the skin acne and bloating, what should I do? I want to have a big family, and I want it naturally, and I definitely don’t want to take birth control because it will ruin my body/ face help! What should I do?? ❤
Hi! So sorry to hear you are struggling. We'd encourage you to check out Dr. A's new PCOS platform, ovii.com, where you can take a PCOS assessment and learn more about your options. Wishing you the best!
Gracie is so inspiring ❤
