It's incredible that something as basic as our wrists, can dictate where we'll be in the next few seconds. Our body fights against that pain of a good wrist lock, so we 'over-react' and find ourselves flipped on the floor due to a muscular/nervous reaction. Incredible how people were finding this stuff out centuries ago.
This group has clubs across 7 countries from 10 different martial arts, and the summer and winter camps often represent at least 7 different arts - everyone supports each other and swaps ideas and its fascinating to see how each instructor adds or evolves what they teach because of it. Welcome to the community btw!

if you watch the real masters they use the wrist as a connection method through to the spine, to control balance

CAN YOU ADD SOUND????
? There is sound. Maybe you accidently muted the clip? Try again
I know this by the name kote gaeshi. What does omote mean? Gyaku means somthing like "reversed" right?
Happy trainings!
I found it in a book, omote gyaku is "outside reversed" so it is what I get if I let my son dress himself.
From an aikido pov this is pretty much kote gaeshi indeed
Omote refers to inside of uke lead hand
@@daneck100 omote has about 6 meaning in Japanese. In this instance the most relevant meaning is probably "front"
Gaeshi also means reverse or turn or counter
I am here because a school bully
