Lmao! As a guy who rarely gets compliments from women, I can tell you that you made his day. We dudes never get compliments. Mostly because we see eye contact as an expression of sexual desire thereby explaining women's general trepedation, but still super nice to hear (read?).
I would wear this all day every day if I wouldn't look a bit eccentric. This is the most beautiful clothing in the world. Why the heck did the japanese adopt western clothing? The west should have adopted this instead. This style of clothing is... poetic...
Convenience. I have a couple of kimono and a yukata and they not only take longer to put on than western clothing, but modern-day tasks are harder with them (i.e. going to the bathroom, sitting in a chair without your underwear showing, walking over stairs without them pulling your legs back, etc). I love to wear my kimono but I also understand why many Japanese do not wear this type of clothing anymore.
traditional clothing from western countries is beautiful too. The closest thing i can see to beauty in modern clothing is the hip hop clothing african Americans wear but it doesn't compare. BTW I would not wear this. false collars and weird plastic buckles are not worth the beauty they lose
Thanks for the clarification though my question is about traditional kimonos since the zipper is a modern western adaptation to modern kimonos. I am currently re-watching a Japanese soap opera named “OSHN” the story unfolds from 1907 and the western influence happens after the end of the WWI in 1918, after this year western influence arrived to Japan and with it the adaptations to the traditional kimonos. I remember wondering 🤔 how Japanese used to go to the bathroom in their apparently impractical traditional kimonos 👘
@@slamcutube In the old days, if you went to the toilet, you had to put your foot in one side. Or next to the toilet, there was a small room where you could take off your hakama.
Oh you’re selling them I got it, but still.. where is the design from? Did you come up with this yourself or did it exist? I just wonder, because putting on a normal Hakama is actually pretty easy once you know how, and that is without any plastic ;)
Very nice and I would love to buy one for iaido; but why so outrageously expensive if I may ask. The fabric is neither silk nor wool. $700 + Canadian seems very overpriced.
Haha nice is it from the 31st Century? 😜 I have to tie my Hakama myself, there‘s no plastic clipper on it 🙈 Actually the first time I‘ve ever seen anything like it, where did you get it? 🤔
I dont know exactly How I got here but the model is damn fine lol. His hair color suits his face and body well. also this video is well made btw! Can I have the models contact info for educational purposes😏 just kidding lol
So where would you BUY a Dougi, an Obi and a Hakama? I love this style of clothing. I would like to have a nice looking Zoroye. Not something flashy. Something like the brown Zoroye Tom Cruise wears when he gets caught by Higen in The Last Samurai.
Which part of this is "samurai"? Anything to bring the viewers in, right? LOL All those plastic buckles and belt loops are so impractical. A traditional hakama is much easier and faster to put on.
This is so bizarre. Plastic buckles and all kinds of fabric strips to hold the ties in place. Why make hakamas even more complicated? If it's a modern invention, shouldn't it be faster or more beneficial somehow?
How in the world does one go to the toilet to poop in this? I'm being serious with this question, so if anyone can enlighten me on this, that'd be greatly appreciated
ahh, the traditional plastic snap release buckle
Lol my thoughts exactly . Never actually seen one of those b4 looks odd to me
Wow that’s a process! But the end result looks so majestic. Also the model is pretty handsome 👀

Imagine wanting desperately to go to the bathroom

Is this a American joke?www
I mean some hakama were designed with a hole for that purpose
Such a beautiful video!!! Why isnt so popular?...
The front know from the hakama should create a "+" figure

whats wrong with being "eccentric"? who cares what others think, if you would be happy and comfortable wearing it? it looks great
@@LiLBitsDK Never said there was anything wrong with it, but some people don't like to stand out.

Im watching this because the model looks good :’)
ถ้าต้องเข้าห้องน้ำละ??🤔
Yeah the plastic buckle is so traditional
So what happen when you need to pee?
There is a zipper on the front.

For the Hakama without a zipper, you just need to lift up one of the legs. It's high enough to go over everything ;)
Can you wear a hakama with just a haori?
We need know what size this , please 🙏

When will the shop be restocked? I clicked the link and everything is sold out ;-;
かっこいい😍♥
dougi x hakama wer can i buy here n japan
Question how hard is it to go the bathroom

Please, could You tell me what kind of fabric is this?
Imagine waking up 5 minutes before the train arrives and having to put this thing on.
the video is SLOWLY showing you how to put it on and it is 5min 50seconds long? with training this would take like a minute to put on ;-)
Haha nice is it from the 31st Century? 😜

Beautiful dogi. Where can I buy it? Thank you
I regret what I said I said I already know how to put a hakama but I realized it different
Hi curious about the dougi is that different than a juban??
meanwhile I struggle to tie a tie
I had intense deja vu watching this.
I currently owned a cyborg samurai figure and I need to watch this video to know how to put his clothes on properly// It was helpful
Ơ kìa đồng bào :)))
Y'all got it in size medium
Hello I had a question, is that a kimono you are wearing? Does this have a specific name or just a kimono?
So this is how gu dongmae from mr. Sunshine wear 😳
I dont know exactly How I got here but the model is damn fine lol. His hair color suits his face and body well. also this video is well made btw! Can I have the models contact info for educational purposes😏 just kidding lol
Nice but going to the toilet will be a challenge
When I'm able to have adult money Imma buy myself a katana and a zoroye, walk around town pretending to be a samurai
I thought like you, but then became an adult and found i dont have the balls to dress the way i want to 😂
wow nice
How about the underwear samurai
Normally, we wear "juban" underwear, but the samurai zoroe has a "collar" on the dougi, so we don't need it.
So where would you BUY a Dougi, an Obi and a Hakama? I love this style of clothing. I would like to have a nice looking Zoroye. Not something flashy. Something like the brown Zoroye Tom Cruise wears when he gets caught by Higen in The Last Samurai.
That is cool :D
well i, was let my mother to hospital in the american hand,s and was come home dead.

Must have been painful for men to sleep with women, you have to plan 2 hours before to get all that cloth off.
