Welcome to our domain! Our land is different from your epic landscape, but the south has an appeal and beauty all of its own. I love it.
Pretty certain Steve doesn’t need an intro or description to U.S. , as he has hunted here hundreds of times. No disrespect.
I totally agree. If your from the south you just can't help it, it's in your blood forever. Many leave the south to go work somewhere else but they always return home ,coming back to the south. All I can say is there's nothing like home.
Sending love and blessings to everyone out there from the old woman in the Tennessee mountains.
Yes! It does… Alabama GRITS!!! (Girl Raised In The South- GRITS!)
This magical wilderness
@googleedwardbernays645 He welcomed him.
The people in here talking about Steve being soo irresponsible by sitting on R.R. tracks, trespassing, being arrested, and everything else are the funniest EVER!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I bet the were hall monitors in school.. lmao!!
Those people usually spend most their lives inside and never go outside their yard.
Tracks were our roads, paths to get places growing up.
Window lickers...
None of you understand the danger and what it does to those in the cab of the locomotive who see a person on the trax. It's not fun. Been there, seen it.
As a small town teenager, my friends and I use to Reduce Air Psig. in our Car Tires and Run down the Tracks in our cars, you could let go of steering wheel and car would stay True on the tracks...
Welcome to the US. Thank for all you do. God bless! ❤
The camera is great! Welcome to the South!
I just heard ( in SC) a Sasquatch imitating a barred owl at 1 am this morning; and another responding with a crow call mixed with monkey - like chatter: very exciting stuff 😅.
Thanks Steve.🙏👍
Incredible
Western SC? Like Blue Ridge Mts area?
I just heard this exact same noise in northern MN it was an owl call that turned monkey I have been blown away by it and just happened to stumble on this comment
@@jimini1976 actually, Catawba SC : Southeast York County; and the upstate (SC) Piedmont geographical zone.👍
@@xxSNIPER230xx I'm near Moose Lake, MN and Duluth.
Turkey season in the South and owl hoots are good locator calls. Wife is coming out of foot surgery now and hopefully I can watch this soon to hear them. Be safe,
Prayers for your wife for a quick recovery 🙏❤️🙏
🙏 ❤
Give her a hug from all of us 🙏🇺🇸
We use owl for first call to get gobblers started at dawn. After that, it doesn't do anything I know for turkey.
She’s good and thank you!
Looks like your having a great time in Alabama 💞Much needed and long overdue!!
👍
Welcome to the South.
Good Afternoon from NW Florida! My favorite channel and Steve. Today is beautiful, warm and sunshine! Sending Love and Prayers to my HTH Family and Friends.
I watched the weird video I took, but it was so windy that is all you can hear.
👋❤️🙏
@@ElFra9 Hello Ellen! 👋😊❤️🙏🙌☀️🌞😎
Good afternoon girlie. Hope you're doing well and off from work.
@motorhead2003 Yes! Tuesdays are my favorite people! A super sweet couple. They practically have adopted me. If I cook a bunch of food, I always make them plates. We tease each other. Good people.
An outdoor post like the early days of the Channel. And its wonderful to hear the birds calling in the background with the green trees of the Southern US. Very nice.
A bouncing Betty is a land mine you step on, it pops up about waist high and explodes
Yep, knew that fromyearsago, thank you for re-educating !
Meant to castrate you.
Every Foot Soldier in Vietnam Dreaded Walking Point down any Jungle Trail, my cousin in Marine Corp. was about 5 or 6 guys back when one of his Squad walking Point stepped on a Bouncing Betty, Blew his Lower Body apart and my cousin also got Ball Bearings in his legs...
Bounding mine is the term
It basically cuts ppl almost in half the way it explodes
Steve!! Welcome back to Sweet Home Alabama! I'm just a few hours west of you. Enjoy your trip ❤️ Man, those loud frogs remind me of my last home. So loud they woke me up a few times😮it was crazy. And that owl hoot is exactly what I'd hear sitting on the porch drinking coffee at 5am. Stay safe & have lots of southern style fun!
👍
👍
My dog reacts like crazy when he hears those “owl” sounds! Never reacts to real owl hoots here.
Sitting on train tracks! Looks like an active track too. Steve finds the greatest spots to make his videos. Wonderful share.
Yea they are active, No rust on the top rail, But in my area, some tracks might have a handful of trains pass per day
Thanks, Steve and the viewers, for sharing their encounters
Wow, the sounds in the forest sound amazing during the day, all the birds and wild animals .
Enjoy your days. Stay safe ! 🙏
Great nature intro * thanks Steve 😮 welcome to the U.S.A.
Glad you made it down here for a visit Steve, Enjoy❣
Love from Alabama
👍
The beautiful nature combined with the guitar and piano music is what initially brought me into this channel. It is probably the most beautiful combination of music intertwined with nature that I've ever seen/felt. It lifts my spirit and my soul immensely. When I die I would like them to play a snippet of this nature footage on a screen and play this music. Thank you!
Welcome to the US. Blessings. Go truckers and railway workers. Cleveland

Steve the camera is good and the sound is so clear. ❤❤The birds were just talking, chirping like crazy 😅😅 Enjoy your time with friends🎉

Thanks again Steve for another great video and God Bless you and Sarah! 🙏
Thanks Steve, its good to see the southlands again. I miss traveling as I did when I was so much younger.
Is that another one of those enigmatic 800 lb owls we keep hearing about?
😂👍
Please keep sharing the footage you collect from these trips. I love watching them and then hearing the emails. Thank you 😊
I've had the great fortune of visiting southern states as well. I have toured trails in Florida and Georgia that look exactly like the one this video opened with. I too live in BC but I have a soft spot for American South and grilled shrimp & grits, fried tomatoes and the best greens you'll ever eat.
The birds sounds and railroad tracks!I love this! Those rails take you to hidden places where fish are caught , rocks are collected and perfect pools of river water to cool off in. Oh you just took me back to my youth.😃Growing up mnt our little town was a hub of trains that stopped to hook up an engine that was called the helper, to help pull the long trains over the pass. My father was an engineer and I rode the rails with him west to east thru the mnts. It is a most magnificent view thru the mnt forests. I know a train whistle! Sounds like a Sasquatch. Big.
Steve-
Camera is super crisp, very nice!
😊 love our South…❤so glad you’re in the states, be safe & God’s speed.
What a culture shock to adjust to summer type weather conditions, it looks neat looking at the green trees, it's budding in Northern Wisconsin right now, can't wait. Thanks Steve for sharing these emails and stay safe on vacation 👍
Welcome to the US Steve!
Happy Tuesday HTH Family from your Brooklyn Cousin😊

And SNAKES!!! They are awake and on the prowl! Grouchy when the wake up, too. Timber rattlers, copperheads, cotton mouths, water moccasins… ALL bad boys!!!
I’ve roamed those Southern woods all my life and met up with a number of them!!! Stay safe!!!
Have fun! I have those owls all around my house every night lol. Elmore Al
That's funny I have them all around my house also.
as well as I do , but also Barred owls are not the only ones i hear
Yep! That is the sound of the South at night!!!
👍

Bought electric surron just before lock down, the timing was perfect. Stay indoors I didn’t 🤣🤣🤣 put over a thousand miles on it fishing on the banks of the river trent 😎👊❤️🇬🇧
Hello from SE Louisiana ❤
SW Louisiana here 😊
Those barred owls are awesome and creepy especially when they start that caterwalling stuff. Tons around our property in carroll county MD.
Do they have pure black eyes and get super close to you and seemingly “heard” you around? I have never actually seen them and heard them make noise its either i can see them and its quiet.. there is always 2 of them.
@formeolosuslasvenators1777 Yes. Our only owl with black eyes. Their calling is crazy. When they get going, the hooting goes into growling, then they start into monkey calling. If they are close enough, they make a convincing chimpanzee noise.
They are easy to call in if you get decent at imitating them. I guess that they are very curious. I have seen one in the yard, as close as 15 feet away, pouncing in the leaves after a mouse. He caught it and then turned to face me, like he was wondering why I was spying on him or something. One of my favorite creatures to have hanging around.
I noticed in this video Steve all the songbirds you hear in the woods something you don't hear or at least I don't hear it in the videos in British Columbia
A bounching betty is a type of antipersonal mine when triped the mine shoots into the air about three feet and exsplode`s, very devastateing .
Wow, Winchester Wisconsin, we would go through there on our way up north when I was a boy, hearing that town just brings back warm memories of me and my dad going up north!!
Brad Pitbull approves 👍 this episode 👌
Thank you Steve
Have a blessed day yall
That VW bug story was cryptic! Super hard to follow. More analogies than actual details!
what a beautiful background re the train rails. would make a gorgeous picture on the wall. thanks for reading and sharing... some interesting stuff today.
Yay!!! The LONGER version!!!
👍
Glad you are enjoying yourself! Have fun and be safe! 😊
Bouncing Betty-- A type of WWII German landmine. It fired, shot upwards several feet then detonated.
Used in Vietnam too.
Bounding mine.
Steve I totally appreciate all u share of the real world...u definitely are a true human in ur actions and caring for your family...I appreciate you bro keep it goin
The Sabe have done some funny sounding owl calls wen they visit me, thank you Steve And HTH Family for Sharing Truth!! From the U. P of Michigan.
Thankyou Steve, great fun filled adventure day x
Wow new camera has a super nice picture!
Ja, das finde ich auch! 👍
👍
The critter is the size of a Volkswagen, it was dark, it was on all fours, the hair was shiny, so much so it looked like a new paint job on the Voltswagon.
The person telling the story was describing it to what registered in his thoughts.
After he warned it, I think it got the being a bit angry...then it smashed his car moving the sand with the car.
It moved, made him spin on his ankles.
it moved fast
Hey Steve!! Welcome to the US!! I'd love it if you'd stop by here in NJ! ! 🎉

The new camera is working very well.
Hey Steve. Very clear picture! Doing its job.. ❤ Enjoy your time off. Thanks for your fathfulness in sharing the emails. You're the best!!!
That was really cool to watch and hear. Thanks, Steve!
Forget about the forest people ~ they're just waiting for the train to come barrelling down the tracks!
I'm sure this would never be uploaded if that happened lol don't think a camera can survive something like that
Down south we call thems "Mr Skonk"...
Forget about the forest people because they're waiting for a train?
What do you mean by this?
Grew up in Mississippi… I love the south
Hey Steve, I am in Louisiana, I love the Rivers and Swamps!! Sure wish I could have ran into you so I could get you to autograph my Hat, thank you for all your knowledge & truth, we would find arrowheads and whistles on the train tracks …. God Bless You, Sarah & The Family
This was an outstanding video, Steve! Made me feel like I was hanging out with you all. Thanks to you and your friends.
Piney woods!
Safe travels, Brother. The new camera kicks ass.
Steve, camera looks fantastic! 👍🏻
Your short vid in the swamp 1:32 the sasquatch were watching you .....
Lived by the tracks all my life. He's fine.
Yup common sense you hear a train you got lots of time to move..
Gday everyone

Can we all agree 👍 on 3 things...
1. We need all know cryptids exist
2. We enjoy the Steve rants
3. A kamala kackle can make a dogman wimper and a Bigfoot shudder
😆
LOLOL - You just invented the first cryptid determent product!

Love the bird sounds 😎
Got here before the video finished fully uploading today 😂
I did the same thought something was wrong and it got messed up 😅
Wow!
👍
Me too, then it was removed. Just waited a bit and came back for this upload.
Its youth season in Ohio, Poor kids are baking Me and a friend would hunt turkeys, we would sound like a whole flock of hens , I would putt as I walk, I bet we both had 5 calls and 7 strikers each., Eastern birds can be tough. You never know what a gobbler would answer too, Ive had gobblers fire off not 40 yards away and closing fast. So fast you sit down right there
Just after your last sentence of the reread. I don't think he could see him in the woods. And then he felt a wind go by his face or body. And then the truck got wrecked while he was still invisible.
Also don't know if it was dark out.
👍
Thanks man.
Thankyou Steve the camera is very clear.
Steves in the states. Steve dont let CSX or any other railroad people find u on the tracks, they will push law enforcement to charge anyone with trespassing for even walking on the tracks. This knowledge comes from a LEO career and getting constant calls from CSX. (Kentucky)
The railroad has dedicated “quick response task force” for “terrorizm” those guys look no joke. Gotta have a well guarded conduit to fuel the dark side- its so compartmentalized they have it down to a science on who “needs to know”
Like some of the people here that never realized they had an experience; same goes for how many people has unwittingly been used to silence or distort the truth under the illusion of safety or fear of threat. Or threat of fear..
I dont want to come off too hard on you man, Steve is a big boy and there would be a problem if the “enforcer” who came to tell me to get off the tracks arrived by way of track.. smh
Thanks so much for showing us country that I will never see. I love country, forest…. Don’t like cities much. 🌿💚🌿
Cool show❤
Gorgeous property ❤
Thank you for sharing everything man, we appreciate you bringing us along on your travels!
Your New camera is Amazing ❗️
Hello to the Round Table family from south Louisiana!
To the guy who shared the Louisiana encounters, thank you! I was born & raised here & am so curious as to what areas they're in in our state. I hope you will keep in touch with us here. I wish I had asked my husband if he had any experiences in the woods before he passed away. He was a big time whitetail deer & hog hunter & in the woods daily for gun & bow seasons.
God bless your family & I hope you can find a safe place to take your boys hunting & teach them all about God's beautiful creation❤
