Thank you, beautiful queen, for sharing your experience, and skills with us, and especially for the natural gray hair. I just found your channel when looking for a natural hair trimming while I was trimming my hair I like watching youtube hair channels your just came up. I have been watching your channel none stop. You are a great teacher and I love how you take your time showing step by step.
Wow!!! Thank you for this!! I’m going to wear my natural hair for my bday and I will use this method!!! And those products 😍 I’ll tag you when I do!! Gorgeous just gorgeous!!!
The thing I like best about flat twists is that they minimize puffy roots once you take them down, and the definition is bananas! Plus they are faster to install than three-strand twists, but you get the same definition. Win-win.
I have thyroid disease and my age and medications seems to slow my hair growth on the top of my head where it is mostly grey! I use Olaplex and Curl Smith treatment’s! The grey definitely needs more products! My hair remains healthy.
Thyroid disease and medications can contribute to hair loss. If you haven't already, check out some of my previous videos on hair restoration. Thanks so much for watching!
ur gonna have to do a video of the big chunky BEFORE-BED twists. LOL. I love your hair. I'm in the process of growing out a pixie cut AND going natural so I'm not quite there yet but I cant wait.
Congratulations on your decision to go natural! Hope you enjoy your journey. I will definitely do another video that shows my bedtime hair maintenance. Stay tuned!
Girl this was amazing!! 🔥Thank you so much!! Definitely trying the flat twists! I’ve always done the regular twists and they’re fine, but I’m still learning so I love options! And I also love my hair FULL! My hair is thicker in the top so it gets really tall so I have to be careful that I don’t look like I’m gonna topple over! 🤣 Thanks!!!! ❤️🙌🏾❤️
My TWA video was Nov of last year so one year ago, but I actually cut it all off 18 months ago. I am determined to do a video on my hair growth journey! Lol. It’s coming next!!!!
Beautiful! I remember the first video of yours that I watched you had a TWA and look at those curls now! One thing, whenever I do a twist out, I find it straightens my hair and it sticks out and looks crazy. Would you recommend using a perm rod on the ends?
Yep! Perm rods or bantu knots work. And you can consider adding a few more rows of flat twists (with the rods on the ends) and that may give a little more volume as well.
@@Autumn938 Also, I'm not sure about your hair textures, but finer textures don't need as much product. It can weigh the hair down, and stretch out the curls too much -- hope that makes sense 🤷🏾♀️
I have 4C hair, there are different grades of black hair, and my hair does not respond to all that product and gel. Your will do just well without all that effort. Your hair type is practically straight doing absolutely nothing but, wash conditioner and a simple finger twirl
Hello. Yes I do curl definition, finger coils and many other styles on my hair. Just showing how to achieve the flat twist out for a stretched looked. Thank you for your feedback.
Excellent.🎉❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Your hair have really grown out. It's beautiful!
Thank you! It’s coming! I am going to do a before after video of my growth and talk about it - it’s coming!! 😂
@@KarenofCurlHouse looking forward to it, Thanks

@@KarenofCurlHouse You’re hair grows fast. Looking for to that hair growth video. I love you videos. They’re educational and right to the point.
👏👏
At the crown did you just 2strand twist or did you flat twist that too. I could not tell.
Hey there! I flat twisted the entire head.

Carol Perdue - same thing happens to me.
