i have the same bike and color, so weird it just started today. My bike won't stay neutral when I go down 1 or up 2. I do see the little blink green Neutral when I go down and up 1 the gears. When i go back down to N it just stays blank No Green N light No 0 Gear indicator but the Neural light will come back if I push the kick stand down .
It's a bad or failing GPS (gear position sensor), or at least it was on my k7 600. Replace that (like 70 bucks) and it'll be like new. hope it helps! I would also recommend lubing the kickstand spring and cleaning any buildup off the the switch that the kickstand presses when it's up as it gets crusty and if you hit a bump it might be triggering the kickstand safety switch and killing the bike, even if just for a moment.

Simple you have to change the neutral switch from the gearbox. Replace it. Its a very common failure on this bikes
Not simple. The switch tested good. If the switch was bad, why would it work after jumping the blue and pink wires on the ECU side?

The side stand switch is full of dirt from the chain? Clean the switch?
The sidestand switch tested good.
Your bike was not a 2007 FYI. It’s a 2008 and newer.
In 08 the 750 had that color scheme. I also owned an 07 1000 that was burnt orange and black.
