- BMW CEO Harald Krüger collapsed during a news conference at the Frankfurt auto show on Tuesday. Mr. Krüger's condition wasn’t serious, the company said later.

The resale value of BMW's and Mercedes' drop like a rock. It's incredible, but the dependability of these German made cars has also dropped like a rock. Would you believe the Germans are using plastic water pumps and other plastic parts in their engines? In addition, they are incredibly difficult to work on because they are so complex. There are sensors everywhere which compounds the problem. Would you believe once, long ago, German made cars would last 300,000 miles. Now they dump them after 5 years. If you're a mechanic, owning a BMW is no problem. Otherwise, forget it.

Because you never know, if, for some reason, the smacks get way too often and hard, it can affect your nerves near the cerebellum, can cause nausea, you can faint. The most dangerous part is the total collapse of the spinal nerve under the cerebellum

"Stage fear , lacking confidence!!" - you can't say that about a CEO OF SUCH BIG COMPANY AS BMW ! ..for a normal person yes! But for this CEO he just needed some rest physically and mentally. Being a CEO of BMW( or any big company) , the weight of your company's success depends heavily on your actions. Sometimes they really do work/overwork excessively beyond a normal human physical and mental work ethic ! Thus these falls can happen! it's totally understandable.
From medical perspective, that can happen if you had li’l too much to drink too. Fatigue, no, I don’t think so. Your voice to quiver and slur like that is not fatigue. Passing out in fatigue you just blacks out since your brain shuts down. But he knew how to fall down. He was intoxicated enough to control himself.
A CEO should be seasoned enough to have done many public speeches. CEO is not any random Joe who is put on the stage. These are seasoned bigwigs and stage fright wont collapse them. He was completely embarrassed and drunk

You are right. The best way to avoid it is to know your subject very well, engage your self in more presentation. You should tell your self that I am the best here and I can do it. I have been there my self but thankfully got over it by practice, practice, practice and practice.
@@mrengineer7852 correct am a very nervous person an can't present in front of people the first day I tried it was a disaster.Then the next day I had another one I went home and practice to the fullest got to class and presented this time it was a different audience it was so good that the whole class was clapping including the lecturer i didn't believe I was the one who just presented.So I think the only solution is practice and practice more once u know what u want to say the nervousness automatically disappear that's exactly what happened to me.

Oh yeah I do. Fainted do to a medical issue I have with my head hitting a table that knocked me out for a few minutes and got myself a bump the size of a Egg. Face was very bruised that it looked like someone had it me.
I faint about 8 times /yrar. My BP goes down so fast and I faint. It's horrible.
@@olivia6063 Worst part for me is the massive headache that i feel is a migraine after the fainting spell. And i'm not big on taking pain pills that much even after the spells. Didn't even take them when i had my toes operated on.
