You better start watching one of their full shows on youtube, the energy they take with them on stage is also great to see. Their previous album The Great War has awesome songs in it. For example; Great war, The attack of the dead men, Seven pillars of wisdom. Putting their show aside, the video songs of them are very nice too.

Good reaction. Loved it every single second. Sabaton does do masterful job on war history. You'd probably love the song called Unkilleable soldier. Or No bullets fly. There's also good song about Winter war and some of Finnish soldiers that fought in 3 armies for example. So you should check those out. And as a Finnish guy I'd love it full heartedly. Thx again.

You're the only Western reactor to this song, who exactly noticed one subtle thing: these women (and all of the Red Army personnel) fought NOT for leaders', whatever was the name - Joseph Stalin or some one else. They fought to defend our Motherland.
More. Approx 1 year after the War began, some of emigrants, who left the revolutionary Russia at 1917-18, could defeat their "dis-love" (forgot a proper word) for the Soviets, and hand their help - money, weapons, manpower. Because they hate the Soviets, but love Mother Russia and would not allow Hitler to win.

Well... speaking from ethnic Russian who never was a Russian citizen: If German army give you a nickname - YOU WEAR IT IN PRIDE. Doesn't matter - were those Germans Prussians (big notable P here) or even Nazis... when they give your regiment a nickname - you probably earned it

7:50 Sorry but the USA never did anything like that because the USA where never invaded. And no, the war of independance does not count because the USA literally didn't exist - that was a rebellion of parts of the British colonies against their own country, the British Empire. Likewise, the war against Mexico also doesn't count because that was the USA invading Mexican territory since Utah, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, western Colorado and Texas all belonged to Mexico.
In all wars the US fought after the war of independance the USA have always been the invaders.

not real certain where you thought you were going with all that. The "invasion" part is far less important that the "being attacked" part; pearl harbor was a deliberate act of war against us, and patriots came to the defense of the country. THAT'S the parallel. If they weren't busy in the factories, patriotic women would have been happy to fly any kind of plane in the Army Air Force. I was talking about the reaction to attacks. Not general foreign policy.

@@JammersMetalMischief Sure, Pearl Harbour was a deliberate act of war against the USA.
However the Japanese didn't want a war with the USA, they simply wanted to prevent the USA from interfering in the japanese attacks against the asian countries and what they tried to achieve was eliminating the capabilities of the USA to send forces to Asia (didn't work as we all know).
About patriots....that term is difficult. The japanese soldiers attacking Pearl Harbor where also patriots. Many of the German soldiers invading Russia where also patriots. I would avoid that term altogether.
