+reyaz mir so when Allah (SWT) said he sent down the Quran he meant he sent down a collection of ayahs? The Quran was compiled during the life of RasoulAllah (saww) by RasoulAllah (saww), not Abu Bakr (la), not Umar (la), not Uthman (la), not Aisha (la) and not Hafsa (la).

Hi, there aren't many websites on the internet, in my opinion Ammar Nakshwani is the best source, and another good source is a religious or practicing Shia.
Check out al-islam.org there are a lot of free books you can read
Books that inspired me were "Peshawar night"s and "a restatement of the history of Islam" and of course "then I was guided" all online at al-islam.org

Excellent lecture and great proofs of beliefs on Karbala through narrative of Sunni literature! Although I think Sayed could dissect it a bit more by answering and clarifying some of the myths and misinformation raised by Yasir Qadhi in his analysis of Karbala.

I am thinking of Shiism but the majority being Sunni is what worries me. I love all Muslims and i dont want to be hated by Sunni just because i could be Shia
Jake Bull a sect or a group that could inherently hate you for being of the same path to God says a lot about itself. Sunni-Shia unity is on the rise, I wouldn't worry about joining either.
Just because theres a bigger crowd, doesnt always mean its right. Think outside of the box :) Hope you find the right path inshAllah
The only way to Islam is through the teachings of Prophet Muhammad . The only way to access this knowledge is though his door. For the prophet has said " I am the city of knowledge and Ali is the gate. This is narrated in both shia and sunni traditions.

Alot of people need to recognize that benediction & drama are not always the same thing as worshiping such figures.
There is good reason why history falters after prophet Muhammad lived. The details after are not of central importance.
He is right that new things arrive and we have to question: "Why and is it sufficient?"
Ta`ziyah and Kraya are pretty much all from the past five centuries.
Few events after Karbala were of such importance to history. It is an important issue regardless of its influence on personal faith.

Yes, he has Islamic-inspired tattoos all over his arms too. And according to all Shi'a Marjas/jurists, it is permissible to have the type of permanent tattoos that Sayed Ammar has.
Sorry, but the actual ruling says that if you have Islamic tattoos, then they must be respected and you have to be careful about disrespecting them through impurity etc. Therefore, it's better NOT to have Islamic tattoos, but rather just ordinary ones, since we use the toilet, have sex, etc, all of which entail impurity, and therefore disrespect. He has a tattoo of "Ali" in Arabic on his left hand, which we use to clean ourselves after using the toilet. Isn't that the height of disrespect...? He should have thought it through a bit better, and it's not too late to get it fixed.
+sweetnawesome23 in my personal opinion i think having a tattoo is wrong cause as muslims we have to look up to the behaviours and doings of mohamed(s) and the imams, and cause i dont think they would put a tattoo i shouldnt put one, the body is a gift from god we have to respect it and try as much as we can to deliver it the way we got it unless its in the way of god, since tattoo dosent benfit the body then i think its wrong
