- You know when talent comes looking for the ToneWoodAmp, it's got to be good.
An unforgettable evening with the legendary Mike Gallaher trying for the first time the ToneWoodAmp. What a treat!
I love how this amp turns seasoned pros into little kids on Christmas morning. Nobody can stop grinning. 🤠
I've never heard of this guy before. He's awesome! I love how much he enjoys the Tonewood!
I love Mike Gallaher's playing. His phrasing is flawless.
What a great guitarist!!! Thank, first Time i Heard you
One of the best Tonewood demos I've ever seen. The selections of songs played by Mr. Gallaher perfectly demonstrated this devices abilities. Please do a full video playing Lee Ritenour's "No Sympathy" that was played around the 3:10 mark. Or the kind people at Tonewood could release the full, uncut demo!
Sounds Great! I have played many years and love hearing your endless talent. Makes my whole head tingle with euphoria. spill the wine and shake that girl....and beck...and the nylon sounds......gotta have one.
Fantastic playing 🔥
Really enjoyed this video, and how beautifully clear and defined your guitar playing is. I'm more convinced than ever by watching your Tonewood Amp guitar video on UA-cam; that, the sooner I get this amazing device the sooner I can enjoy the Tonewood Amp.
Did you ever buy one? I got one for my birthday last month and am still blown away. I played for seven hours today until my left hand froze up. I also play with the I Device interface ($10 for the TWA sErvice cable and $10 for the "guiboard" all upgrade). It's amazing!
What's his style of playing ? Man I can listen to him play all day lol
Dude, you play the tastiest licks!
I like the strum he does at 00:41
I love the delay effect and all I hear is this song that comes to mind. It's making me want to pick up my guitar again.
It sounds even better in RL. Really cool acoustic fx box. Add an ipad...wow!
Awesome ! What a cool idea.
What a great player! Wow. Thanks man, for inspiring me to be a badass on my acoustic. :D
Never seen scales played that fast on an acoustic. Sweet, Mike.
Zac Brown is very good at it too
yes you are plugged into an Amp and the amp is called Tonewoodamp. :) but seriously I can listen to this guy play all day. amazing playing
What did they use to mute his strings? I need one of those!
Heisenberg cooking up some pure jams
Nice video! Even his voice has reverb. Does it somehow from withing the guitar extend to the space around the guitar and one's voice is in reverb too?
What’s the Pat Metheny tune he’s playing at the end?
It's an awesome amp but SERIOUSLY, what is that song he sings at 3:22!?!?
Mike Guerrero it is called "No sympathy" by Lee Ritenour.
Mike great video and sound. I was wondering what pickup you have in this guitar.Your using in the video?
I love that this guy plays neon like it's freaking nothing
He played with Adrian Belew. That's like being an alien contactee in a musical way... Such carefree virtuosity.
What is the pat martino song right near the end called?
A Portrait of Diana
What is the last song he plays by Pat Martino? It sounds beautiful!
Possibly. He used to sit in his room all day learning Pat Martino and Joe Pass licks
A Portrait of Diana
Does anyone know the name of that John Mayer song? By the way Great playing!
Does anybody know what all the songs he was playing were called?
What song at 3:23 it's so wonderful
Does the quality of the pick up affect the sound of the tonewood amp ? My blueridge doesn't have a pick up, so I'm wondering if I can get away with a cheaper pick up and still good great sound from the tonewood ?
Hey bill don’t know if you’ve made a purchase yet, the quality and voicing of which ever pick up you use will have a huge effect on the tone you get. I’ve got a Maton S70. It’s an Australian guitar with both a mike and piezo pickup and they sound completely different. I notice that tone wood are offering a fishman neo D for around 80 bucks, I’ve used the in the past and they’re the ducks nuts (Aussie slang for v good). 8 bucks for a pickup to dive you pr 250 buck Tonewood amp would seem to make sense to me. Best thing is if you change guitar you can move the lot to your new instrument... happy playing bro.
But what tab is using at 00:41? It's beautiful
Anyone know the names of any of these songs? I love them all and want to learn every single one!
The first one is Cause We Ended as Lovers, written by Stevie Wonder. Google the name + Jeff Beck Tal for a treat!
What is the song at 3:25
They should do a demo with Andy Mckee
ua-cam.com/video/AIJqJZ9iK-Y/v-deo.html With Andy Mckee ;)
I totally agree. Could you imagine BOTH having the tonewood. Maybe if we are patient. Who know's.
Hello Mike have you try this Witt a 12 string guitar
What is the name of the song he plays at 1.23?
John Mayer - Neon
Great video and demonstration, to me this device is everything, so how's the progress? Will this come to fruition? Need more funding? Would love to know!
Hello Guitar Maverick,
We are scheduled to start shipping out the TWA in June. Please contact us if you have any further questions through our website: www.tonewoodamp.com Cheers~TWA Team
Thanks for the reply and link.
where can i buy one cheap?
We are not worthy! 😁
If it's so great - Wondering why tonewood amp isn't available in major outlets like guitar center or sweet water - seems to only be available directly through the manufacture very curious
Cheaper that way..they don’t have to mark it up for the distributor..
Although, they are starting to be available at retail outlets..I bet they’re still cheaper through the main website..
The very first song he plays. Why can't I think of the name of it? Solo artist... seriously, please help with this! It's driving me nuts!
Never mind, I figured it out. Jeff Beck - Cause We've Ended As Lovers.
Great song. Great, great song.
Would love to hear Earl Klugh
Wait, is the amp also modifying the player's voice too? He echos as much as the guitar.
holy shit that is sick
what was that song he was singing
No Sympathy by Lee Ritenour
I wanna see Estas Tonne play with one of these.
Is his voice coming through a bit as well?
what is the song he is playing at 0:22 ? thanks guys
Because We Ended As Lovers- Jeff Beck, although he played an acoustic arrangement of it and it was part of the chorus I believe.
TonewoodAmp. You're welcome.
Song at 1:56?
What song is he playing at 2:23??
+Everett Butts It might be a variation on Spooky, but I think he was just noodling.
How can I play like that dude
Go back in time, start when you’re ten..lol..
Drop out of school when you're 16, spend all day at the record player learning Pat Martino and Joe Pass licks.
I have to say that thing will make a good girl go bad
Play some Andre Segovia method ..
i need money
I need talent..or maybe just determination to practice..
The title reads ToneWoddAmp....Should read ToneWoodAmp....I'm just sayin'.....
Maybe it's the new ToneWodd
Which song he was playing in 3:10 ? Pleasw
+.con, Gamersゲーマー It's not a song it's just jazz phrasing, for fuck sake.
