Paaaaaaart 5! The Hermit is, well, more introspection, more self-analysis, and more wisdom, but with a focus on literally doing it all on your own. It’s about self respect, but not at the cost of your respect for society at large. Literally, love yourself and better yourself but still remember that other people are important. The Hermit shadow is one of those very simple ones. It anchors itself to a web and abuses that web to try and force its problems away. It draws power in, taking it away from the mall (and probably the rest of the island if left unchecked), and then vomits it out after charging for a looooong time, unaware that it is causing more problems for itself by doing so due to how vulnerable it is during the charge-up.
I kind of always loved how the Hermit was portrayed as a short sighted idiot in its moveset Leaving itself unprotected charging, and a heavy focus on elec skills and raw damage leaves it with almost zero battle strategy beyond "Attack! Attack! Attack!" (moreso in the original, where it only had poison, charges, and spells) and easily walled
6:58, something funny I noticed: I'm watching the Persona 4 Animation, and in the scene at the club, Rise mentioned how she was supposed to have a secret concert there, but that went under because of the power going out. How crazy would it be if it was the Hermit Shadow that caused the plan to go under? Shinjiro said: "There was a big outage [...] that forced him to cancel some important event." Imagine if P4Ani was referencing this Persona 3 moment.
When I dealt with this fight I believed I removed the boss's immunity to electric attacks, and since I had Ken on my team I used his ability to reflect magic attacks to cause the electric attack to bounce back at the boss and deal the finishing blow.
@@fall5923not all that surprising it's just a venue after all and I imagine they have no issues just completely getting rid of the alcohol when it's just an event like in her case
One of the easiest bosses. The only trap is a surprisingly large number of members are susceptible to electricity, so obviously you shouldn't take them. But if you have electicity resitant Persona, there is nothing boss can do to you.
That boss was mad annoying because I couldn't understand how to stop it from charging. And funny enough after I finished it, a power outage happened. I hadn't saved for a solid hour. I was kind of pissed but oh well.
No they do not. Only active party members gain exp. However, there is a 'catch up' mechanic within Tartarus this is pretty much free and more chance based in the game dropping it for you to use. I've seen some content creators saying the greater the disparity in lvl from the MC, the greater the chance it will drop along with using your twilight fragments.
@@325figgyfrom my experience the door always shows up when exploring a previous block after reaching the highest floor that you can for that particular month. Basically reach the top floor and go through a lower block until you find a locked chest and presto.
You know, as I'm watching your videos I'm noticing a lack of patra/-nda skill usage during boss fights or even regular fights, why is that? It did cause you to game over at least once...
Fun fact: in the FES opening, you could see a clip of Junpei fighting the Hermit despite.. yknow..

In Persona Q, it was actually confirmed that that was what happened. I think it was a conversation between Rise and Shinjiro, actually.

I miss Hermit's screaming from the original. It sounds so normal in Reload.

I loved the Junpei and Chidori romance. It was so obvious she was was a villian and Junpei was to lovestruck to notice.

the tartarus bosses are a bit harder. The full moon operation bosses are more spongy/take more time
