Such a masterpiece! Remember this from the early 00’s back when MTV was still broadcasting music instead of that reality bullshit! 😏
@ATTILA - Movement pipe down clown
@ATTILA - Movement It was a cool time:/ If you weren't around for it, it's hard to express how much cooler it was. Take care -
Agree
Damn those times
2005 was the beginning of the end @@devonknobel
❤️🥰 AMEN 🥰❤️ Thank You Divine For Choosing this Song for Me! I Love All Of You In Heaven! ✨💖✨💖✨✨
Simon and Garfunkel brought me back here, after listening to El Condor Pasa (If I Could). 10 years ago I had this album on repeat being driven around in New Zealand. Awesome holiday, thanks to DJ shadow
I had never heard the S&G song till after I read this comment. How had I never heard it! So good!
Holy crap, I saw this film clip YEARS ago, and have NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND IT AGAIN. UNTIL TODAAAAY
Yeah, I'm here again...this still gives my goosebumps, 14 years later 🖤
The old-school riff that enters at 3.10 is so infectious that drives one insane..
I remember listen to it on mp3 player.. or waiting to see it on TV..
The drum beat was originally programmed by Zack De La Rocha, Shadow asked if he could use the beat and develop it further after ZDLR walked from a collab project.
Da Fuq ?!?
Nice how'd you learn this?
How doth thou knoweth such a thing? Pray thee, do tell.
No, you can't go home again. I wish I could.
one of the greatest songs ever, absolute emotional masterpiece.
I can not believe this album is as old as it is
I remember MTV Europe playing this over and over back in 2002. Finally I found it!
my 2 year old nephew loves the drums, in the car we go mental over this track, trying my best to be a good uncle and all.
Total timeless classic.
Love DJ Shadow and other trip hop inspired sounds from the likes of
Unkle, DJ Krush, Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky, Allflaws
Wow. That video left my heart pounding. What an intense ride. Very subtle. I couldn't tell where it was going at first, but after the third "cycle" I got it. From what I can tell, it's a story about angle--what you see about the world If you only look at it from one angle. But if you turn the camera, you can see how everything really fits together, all the tangled webs we weave, how we interact with each other. Only then will you see that there actually IS a method to the madness...just barely.
Memory. Memory is not as accurate as we would believe. The more we go over a memory, the more it changes, first subtly, then more and more aggressively, but we never notice it and we go over it the same ways, even though it no longer resembles the reality that it was.
That's what I got out of it, anyway.
THATS THE PERFECT SONG FOR THAT TITLE..... BREAKING BAD..... GREAT ONE FROM THE ARTIST......
DJ Shadow slays it again and again. Love this video.....oh yeah, I also love his work. He is super creative and talented.
Ricordo quando nel 2002 la trasmettevano su MTV BrandNew.
Mi colpí sin dal primo ascolto.
Che video poi!!!
Meravigliosa!!!
This song gives more than money can give.
can i also hear it?
I have a recording of this song from the late 90's and didn't know who it was till just fucking right now, big big thanks!
I get it - it is telling the story of a man's life (the guy in the leather jacket who at first out ran the car). It is showing how he got involved in crime and his and his girlfriends relationship. The whole thing is backwards, at the very end the boy kicking the ball is him as a kid also note how it was morning when the kid did that. Very creative!
Nice tune takes me back in time when worked in a music store back in 2001, used to play it in the store few times a day when it was released. Quiet loud. heard it 100s of times and still love it.
It's NEVER about the video! It's only the song that's important!!!
Musique de génie, génie de la musique .mémorable
I always remember buying this CD and holding it like treasure. Shadow is a beat master 🤘😎
All too true.... One street can have so many stories to it... Dj Shadow all the way
today is my birthday and I just wanna say this is tone of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. feels like the trials and tribulations and blessings of life in auditory form. the constant changes in cadence and sound variations are wonderful and mirror life’s ever-changing vibe and feel. all while keeping a euphoric undertone. what a masterpiece. thank you dj shadow.
Happy birthday!
Nice looking Challenger @ 0:50
Best song before going to sleep.
You will dream about travelling, trust me.
This was an ancient peruvian song.paul simon first sampled it in the 60s.i only found that out by chance channel hopping
He's tha man
Looking for this song for a long time...glad I found it!
Addicted!
MTV Club - MV Partyzone.. period
I hate to sound cliche, but this song really sums up my childhood. The late 90's to early 2000's was a pretty incredible time to experience the world with the eyes and ears of a child. This song just restores that nostalgia, that sense of child-like awe toward the seemingly limitless world. Every time I hear this song, its like I'm a kid again.
What a dope tune
It looks like a 1972 - 74 Dodge Challenger. Hard to tell but it's definitely a Challenger and those years share the same hood and grill.
The intro with Simon and Garfunkell, such a pleasure
How are they gonna cut the break out at 3 min!? These guys live within that break and they cut it!? Dope track all the same
masterpiece
Ι feel very relieved... Listening to this song!! ;)
If I saw your flight case... I would probably steal it. Like Jake finding a new treasure :) I love you man, inspirational 2 the T!!!
Perfect...
i get jt. people who cannot log in because they are afraid . know that people like you.
pitched down and distorted but mainly pitched down sounds a lot better
This makes me think of an old friend I miss.... Good times listening to Shadow
Headphone... conected. Walking home while I listen this song.
Makes me chill :)
but you cant go home again
love the music but i cannot shake the feeling that it should somehow release the tension it builds up
i migrated to the US from south america. This song resonates on so many levels to me.
The 2000s were the era of style. This video is the proof. A time when alternativ music could be heard on TV, a time when people had pure authentic creativity. And hipsters appeared in the 2010s, and arts and entertainments kept going down the drain since then.
Fantastic track, which shines brighter than ever.
early 2000s were good. after 2005 they sucked already
I found it again wow
It's a loop. That's why of the pendular movement of the camera... now I can't go home again.
Out of all his many masterpieces, this one is sneakily my favorite of them all...
Who’s here 2025 !
Looks like a street in London
This was beautiful in James Howells 24/7 Mix.
I wish I could go home again.
Pretty Interesting Video
One of the best :)
Hot damn!
Music to think to.
Missing the break awesome song though
there was a break used in this song
Only one word: trippy

E uma portuguesa!! Sou Ultra-Fãnzérrrrrrrrrrima deste som!!! Especialmente deste tema!!!
i hate when vevo blocks somethingfroma bnd thats in the same country as you, like marianas trench, but this song is like really happy, and hyped
the original hip-hop classic
talk about being the sample daddy of the world cos he also uses a sample from an early twentieth century peruvian tune called El Cóndor Pasa that was also used as the basis for a simon and garfunkle tune. Plus the tune is just wicked..ledge
Hey dj
You are a car man, no?
Love the Mopar and every film/video has to have a bug in it.
Word.
Už jsem si skoro myslela, že se mi tenhle song zdál, nemohla jsem ho dohledat, ale pořád mi zněl v uších ... :-) Again...
Love this - Reminds me when it was used as bed on a couple of Radio 1 shows back in 2002 ish.
Che musica geniale!
Every time I liesten to this is a different trip...positive trips 4 ever!
Wow deja vu
I just love it,love it, love it.
That is a really exciting street!

Yehehesss. The awesome intro is missing!
@@user-bj2lu9qt3o hit ne up with a reply so i can remember to send you a link i would do it now but its really late for me and im on my phone unless you've found it already
Uni
Funny thing is we were more free when this came out !
After the last couple of years questions need to be asked
My mother recently got me to get her a dj shadow CD for Christmas, this seems to be the only one I like so far, let’s hope I warm up to the others.
The lack of vocals is really off-putting for me tbh, but mum likes it.
I think your mum's got good taste. Hope you get into it dude. This album was a grower for me, sneaks up on you and before you know it, you're living in it. I agree though, this might be the standout. Especially when you allow the end of the previous track - Blood On The Motorway (which is also pretty poignant) to segue into it...
loving this choon !!!!!!!!!!!
God damn it, VEVO again!
i want to know how the cameras doing that!?!? so amazing
amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
remind me of the movie The hountdog Day. The same sequence repeating unstoppedable, til it comes to an end it ended to be. The movie is a warmhearted one, Hier there is no real end, just more chaotic and destructive scenes mixing up. A street can witness so many things, yet it woulnt change if no one wants to take a leap.
I watched “The Wild” movie yesterday.
From time to time you can hear in that movie short sample from El condor pasa.
Each time that sample was appearing in the movie I was starting to think who else used that sample and where. It took me almost 24 hours to find the right answer;)
The movie is 4/10;)
so good
Awesome job guys. Good to see some creativity coming out again... and great use of that Santoalla sample.
Aki stoy skuxando musika de hace15 20 y 30 años. Gozando(tirando a pureta)
