We opened our doors to Hydroshow TV, who brought along a variety of grow tents. We erected the grow tents and noted the difference in quality and features.
Sorry guys, those aren't viewing windows. They are passive air inlets with a bug screen. If they were viewing windows, they would have clear plastic, not mesh, and would be at eye level, not six inches off the ground.
@Gelato smoke these are joke tents. secret jardin is a budget tent lol...Gorilla tents are easy the best. miles ahead of any of these joke tents. i have owned secret jardin and they are budget.
It's 2021 now and AC Infinity Cloudlab tents are blowing all the competition out of the water, the build quality and material is some of absolute best out there today. "Viewing Windows" do you even grow bro? Lmmfao 🤣😂🤦🤷🤦
I know this is from a long time ago, but...having a bit of experience now, the big thing is the denier of the nylon that it's built from, the stitching and the robustness of the zipper. You can make most zippers last for a long ass time, but heavier duty ones with nice stitching are a Godsend.
I’ll save everyone 8 mins. The budget tent uses slightly cheaper materials than the “premium”, and these guys don’t know the diff between viewing windows and airflow openings
Fun fact. Premium and budget tents are made in the exact same facility. If you shop right the budget tent is the exact same tent but a few hundred cheaper .. literally the same identical tent green architecture for example is identical to higher priced tents, exception being zipper not quite as good, just be more gentle with em and they last for years
It won't be anymore bc AC Infinity is killin it. My 4x4 was $139.00 . How is it gonna be hundreds cheaper when it's not even 200 ?

Depends on the tent I have seen some with inside zippers. I would get the biggest tent and vent possible for paint. Also you would need a filter before the fan with painting so the vent fan doesn't get paint in it.

It is a budget tent and I haven't tried it yet but when your disabled it's harder to save up money 🤷🏻♀️ later on I will be investing in a better one but for a beginner tent I think why not just buy the 100$ version to get experience. Hey, can you email me? I just started a grow with a viparspectra p2600 for a 4x2 tent... Id love to hear how your grow went and swap tips. My email is GroLabTechnologies@gmail.com
They don’t even mention what Mylar was used apart from “some’s is a bit finner” and “some’s a bit ficker” This is like the top gear show of grow tents “It’s a car wiv wheels” “and you get an engine” 😂😂
The biggest difference is the zip. The rest can be fixed with duct tape, mylar... And bugdets one I saw was still about $100 $150 (1m²), not that cheap.
Owned both the green cube and secret jardin both good tents but the green cube is defenetly the best quality in every aspect frame ,material etc I can literary do pull ups on my green qube frame something I'd never try on the jardin tent I'd also say the Mylar is thicker on the green qube and a lot better zips plus you have a viewing window on the green qube
Daves Reality can you tell me if the reflector material in the budget one and premium is the same? Does it reflects the light percentage wise Like the premium tents 🙏
You want to forget about how nice your tent is when growing canibus. It doesnt care.its all about the light.and what you feed it.also a little co2 water and molasses never hurts!!!!
I have owned both premium and budget builds. In the end, they were all the same. If anything the budget were better because I could afford to buy bigger tents.
Wow, what a joke, do your research, there is plenty of cheap tents that are good quality and have plenty of features. my 3x3 hulk was the cheapest i found and has been perfect and have had no issues at all.
Leaving one of the top horizontal bars from the perimeter of a tent is the BEST way to avoid tears. The frame allows more flex to get the tent on, thus it is not as tight to pull over. The one bar you've left out goes in easy as piss with the tent on. #ProsDoingItWrong
Based on this information, The cheap one will be more than adequate and produce identical results than the expensive option Haha. If the cheapo still does the job well...then premium option can pop-shove it. I'd only buy the premium if it actually increased yield or quality of the end product
but if your a traveler like me who spents 1-2 years there, than switching countries... I need a High Quality material that will last me.. a 2x2 is good enough for my travels.
Its the Zipper issue. If tent starts shredding its vinyl, the zipper will be the focus of upcoming fix you need to fix for it will get stuck due to it. Tents seem same purpose but its the Zipper that is important just as much as the space, duct holes, reflector material, ect.. The best tent is the one you take care of..lol..
better than these tents imo with thick diamond mylar, military grade zips, reinforced corners, sturdy poles and reasonable price, thats why i use them.
This is BS, the budget tents are the same as the premiums, other than the logo which can be customized by the reseller by request form the factory , you can also request different kinds of zippers, and zipper colors. They are all made in the same shlt factories in China.
Ime, there is a huge difference. Everything is made in China these days. If you opt for made in the US/UK, you pay a lot more, but end of the day, most companies have to outsource to China. They make to the same quality at the end of the day, as they are made to spec. Chinese selling direct to public, is a different matter however.
Wow... ill never watch these guys again lmfao... viewing windows huh?... the kind you look through while laying on the ground? Gotta love those ground level SCREEN WINDOWS!
The upsell here is ridiculous. The only thing that matters are light leaks and reflectiveness. Budget tents can be found with 99% reflective and 600d thickness. That's plenty. Gorilla tents are an exception because they can come with extra space vertically. Meaning bigger plants. Past that, these guys must be dropping some serious acid because they called the passive intakes viewing windows. I don't think any intelligent indoor grower with moderate experience would listen to these guys as soon as they called the intakes viewing windows...
@PED GSP I like how you messed up your own reply, trying to call me out on my missclick. Though, why wouldn't I like my comment anyway? Sounds like pretty good advice for tents, missclick or not. You on the other hand sound like you're attempting to describe an if else statement from a piece of code and stopped half way.
Zazzy has a quality budget tent out now so this video is obsolete LOL $119. 41% off discount for a 4-ft wide by 8 ft long and 7 ft tall tent durable zippers durable double mesh corners so the tent won't tear high quality inner bottom liner to double up the floor it has pockets and windows even removable Velcro windows that you can look inside without unzipping it it's just as good as the high dollar ones you see out selling right now same features everything
Whatever you do, don’t buy VIVOSUN! Absolute garbage and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Thank you amazon for giving me a full refund. I then ordered a Mars Hydro and couldn’t be happier.
Happy grower Chris trickiest part is having the room to put it together. Take note how they put a large amount of the tent behind where they put it together. Also I don't see those rectangle screened opening they call a viewing window as a viewing window. To me it is an option for ventilation. Do they expect people to lay down in order to look inside at only low growing plants? There are tents made that have actual viewing windows placed at a normal viewing level, they are for passive ventilation.
So 60 pounds more. For thi ker material and thicker poles.wow. thats bullshit . I can make poles for this shit and nake it sturdier and make sure i dont rip anything. Im guessing the material aint that fucking thin thatll rip every time . So im sure id be fine with a cheap ass grow tent
The difference is literally only price. E.g. Amazon, every tent is made in the same place, just gets a different brand label. So if you spend $200 you are literally getting the same tent as the guy who payed $100.. zipper get vucked up on any tentvif you abuse them
