Just watched your fish o qualifier video, was brilliant! I’m going to start match fishing this year but via club matches so hopefully not such a shock! When is your next match?
When I used to Match Fish, Gold Vallley, the Guy we went with, Dave Wilkins, would on average have a total weight of over 350 Lbs..... He would be catching fish every couple of mins or so.. I am not sure if he still goes fishing there, as I am no longer in there area.
Initial tackle outlay is a lot for anyone starting fishing, especially if they want to fish matches it can get rather expensive, worth every penny, though, if you get the enjoyment i get from it 🎣✨️
