I'm so surprised that you feel like you didn't accomplish anything that day! You got a work out in, filmed, did your stats, helped your mom, had groceries delivered, chopped a ton of veggies and got dinner cooked! That's a ton of stuff!! Also, the chopping the veggies/fruit is the best way to go. I'm much more likely to have a handful of grapes instead of chips if the grapes are already washed and picked off the vine 😅

I have 3 other adults in the house. 3 weeks ago I spent an hour chopping vegetables for the week and made a dip...they were gone in 3 days. Last week I bought salad vegetables, and they sat in the fridge for the whole week before I ended up cutting them up yesterday. The salad is now half gone. If ya buy it, chop it! GOOD WORK! You look great!
We got gifted a bunch of apples and they’re just sitting in the fridge…the only way we can eat it in time before they go bad is if I spend an hour chopping them up. Thanks for the reminder. Gonna go do that.

As someone training to become a certified counselor soon, i just wanted to put this out there. Do NOT make BetterHelp your first choice in looking for a counselor. They are shady as hell notoriously known for it in the field. So frustrating how much i see influencers promote them

I personally had a social worker assigned to me, not a licensed counselor/therapist. She was great but couldnt fulfill my needs. She also only was paid $20 per session i did with her when i was paying over $120/mo and i only saw her 4 times a month (only allowed 1 session per week)

@@elodieravier7189I’m pretty sure I had a fully trained one. My problem was that I had someone scheduled for four sessions. On the third one, he said that he’s quitting so that would be my last one with him. What I didn’t like about that was it meant I had to bring up trauma again with a new person, essentially start again to build a relationship so I thought that was a waste of money. Also it can be traumatic having to bring up your past over and over again. I just didn’t use my fourth session cause I didn’t see the point in talking to someone new for like 45 minutes cause I certainly wasn’t going to keep up my subscription. I’ve heard this being an issue with other clients too.

I really like journaling about my successes at the end of the day. I get overwhelmed trying to develop a “to do” list, but shifting my brain to the thought that I will celebrate my actions, not just goal completions. It helped me really be kinder to myself and get more accomplished.
I have been thinking of doing this , it’s been on my mind a lot today that I need to try and write down everything I accomplished rather than what I need to get done. I set myself up for failure with to do lists. I’m going to give it a go and see if It makes me

I do the precutting for my meals but I only cut the things that can go in the freezer. I use my processor and cut up a months worth of onions, garlic, bell peppers etc. It makes cooking so much easier and honestly taste better because I'm more likely to throw all kinds of stuff in there if it's already cut up.
Calorie tracking is the only way to lose fat for me, as I'm a person of.. appetite. But be careful please because it can very easily become an obsession, especially if you have a history of eating disorders or disordered eating. I got to a point where I would ask myself "can I eat this half apple? can I eat a single nut?" and the answer was always no. Love you Bea

You were the person who helped me on my weight loss journey and I'm so excited to see you do this again because you're one of the only ones who's honest about how they feel, what they do, and still eat and not cut our 90% of food to lose weight.

I battle with the food theory ..not cutting certain foods out…and trying to stay in a groove that’s sustainable. I find when I allow myself certain things… It leads to over eating and even worse food choices. I found that abstaining from trigger foods is the only way I can keep them out of my life for long periods of time so I did the keto carnivore diet. That was the most helpful way I’ve been able to get to my weight loss goals, but that, too, isn’t sustainable. So I try to just prioritize proteins and fats. I am super sensitive to carbs and most of my trigger foods have high carb counts. Weight loss is so hard. I also stopped going to the gym for three months and I’m so bummed about it because the weight is creeping back up. But I went back for the first time a couple days ago and seeing this video is pushing me back in the right direction.🎉
@eatmeatnmove I'm the opposite. If I crave something I'm better off eating it because I'll eat other things to satisfy my craving and in the end mostly eat what I had originally craved! So now if I want something I eat it and I've no extra eating

Can I say?? I appreciate you're always real with us. Your journey to weight loss/health is bang on the money with my own experience. I get tired of these examples of people who go "I'm going to fix my life" and then five minutes later say, "it was hard, but worth it, look how great I look now??" That just ISN'T my experience.
Love the Operation Clown pants goal because I am currently on the Operation Cute Small Indian Dress mission. Not stepping on the scale, just trying to get back to where my cute dress is not tight in the arms, chest, and waist.
I'm currently also using the my fitness pal to track my food. And it's been so helpful. I'm 10lb down. Yay!
Bea!!! First of all: You're doing awesome! Second: The perfect thai broccoli recipe is just ginger, chili and garlic in coconut oil, a little bit of brown sugar and some soy and oyster sauce, then some starch to make it gooey. Steamed broccoli into it (if you want, some meat) and roasted sesame on top. I learned that from a YT short. It is delicious!
Third: I feel for you taking the SSRI (took some in a phase of my life, too). I was hoping you'll get your mental health in balance with motion/work outs, pets and healthy food. I'm somewhat frustrated with you: You're doing everything what is in your power and your possibilities and it seems like still not enough (?!) - How could that be?! Please don't be so hard on yourself! You're doing way more to better yourself than anyone I know!! Be proud!

I don’t know if you’ve ever tried drinking water out of a tumbler/container with a straw, but let me tell you IT HELPS SO MUCH. I used to not drink that much water but having a straw to constantly put in my mouth has made me drink so much.
YES
I think having a straw to put in your mouth is a personal preference for some but definitely not everyone. Not appealing to me, I like drinking water out of cups.
Have to have a straw for my water to lol
The Yeti Rambler with a straw was a game changer for me. The water is always so nice and cold.

Freeze your onions and bell peppers! They freeze amazing, and then you only have to do it once in a while and that are ready to go in the freezer.

As a fellow pcos girly.
4 months ago I cut out dairy.
It was the best decision I have ever made. I have way less inflammation, and have lost weight without even trying.
Bonus points my period has been regular, when it's not typically.
My skin has also balanced out, and I haven't gotten a pimple in over 2 months.

Hey Bea. It must be the season I'm feeling similarly in that its time! I like what you said after you spoke about ailments that you gotta keep on top of that. As far as marathon cutting, I say hang in there remember you wanted it to be mild so just reduce to tomorrow's or most needing to be eaten. The more you do it the fewer marathons you'll have. I'm also in the habbit of if I'm making it, cutting it or using it makes extras, store it, freeze it have it ready. Oh ya and being in front of another person whilst doing your thing haha. I'd be similar, I've never lived with a man and wondered how that would work, glad you did it! And the gym haha thanks for the giggles.
I started an oral contraceptive a few months ago AND am on an SSRI. DOUBLE WHAMMY. I look forward to seeing your progress.

I prep a lot of my produce too...but I put them in mason jars and put them in the door of the fridge so I have to look at it every time the fridge is open. Something about putting stuff in jars makes it last longer. So happy to see another video so soon. =)

Idk, I’m always at my best when I don’t have to cook and the salads and vegetables are ready to go and I just have to eat them! I usually lose weight while on vacation, like a weirdo 😂

I too have pcos and take an snri. I also have insulin resistance. I started taking Mounjaro 5 weeks ago and it has made a huge difference for me. I’m rooting for you
