WHY. you can easily repair it. look at this video as example. and even with care refresh you still have to pay a payment to use it.

@@ryandoe11 I got care refresh. I think for 10% of the original price, it's worth to have some insurance for one year if I hit the wall or tree. he said that the repair score is 8 or 9. I disagree. this is more 5-6. he already broke some pieces during teardown.

Would of been a good idea to take apart the arms cause that’s the first thing to break on the drone.

Just wondering, have you experienced breaking a Mavic Mini arm? If so, did you fix it? I think flexible arms would be less prone to breakage due to have some flex.

Given how many people have broken the arms on these things (including myself) I would have thought that taken the arms apart to see how repairable and user replaceable they are would have been the number one priority but none of these tear downs seem to be doing that. Whoever does a tear down of the arms will get a lot of views

It would be cool to 3D print the body of the mavic mini and put it back together as a black color drone. It might be lighter too???

DJI sells a customization kit, perhaps that would allow you to simply color the body however you like. I am ordering one of those kits soon. After I receive my Mavic Mini in the mail.

Thank you so much! I recovered my drowned Mavic Mini (Fresh water). It was cleaned with compressed air until all the drone is dry and afte thar it stayed 2 days in a room with air conditioner. After that I removed the shells and finish the clean with Contact Cleaner. Now its working very well.

Hello, great video ! I added a bright 5mm white led in one front eye of the MM, and connected it to the power distribution board, where is says 3.6 and GND
    - Is that 3.6V, or a bit less ? White led usually accept 3.4v max. In my case it is working now, but the led is VERY bright
    - How much power could I take from the power distribution ? I intend to add a bright white led to the 2nd eye, a strobe on the top, away from the GPS, for a better safety toward other flying planes, and may be a buzzer as seagulls are attacking my MM and I need to scare them away.
    Thank you

I bought a used Mini 2 and on my first flight, I noticed the camera is badly out of focus (except within 1 - 2 Ft). It has some gouges/scratches on it, and the lens glass is missing so im assuming it took some kind of hard landing.
During this disassembly, did you notice anything on or related to the camera that I could mess with that might resolve this issue?
I tried a firmware refresh, and the firmware is up to date, but nothing. I even paired my controller and phone to another Mini 2 which worked flawlessly.

Where are the barometer and image sensors located? I would like to tear down my whole drone and use some high quality MG Chemicals 422C conformal coating to protect my electronics. Any assistance would help a ton. Also there are no videos on youtube about this so might make for some awesome content.
