I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader
Don't listen to him, don't give up. Trading takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everyday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later
You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?
To be honest, I’ve loss greatly on trading too but I found out that the only solution at my situation personally was to get a professional trader who managed and controlled my trades. You can get one too. For months now I’ve been trading with Vivian Klaine Morgan and I can say I’ve made more than my loss now.

This happened with a Minister (Govt Official) in my country, pulled out their insurance policy while their political party was in govt and was talks with the company to help them in their troubled financial crisis.
This is a tough issue. Maybe letting people in Congress benefit from insider trading is the lesser evil. The alternative is to ban in, but it is so profitable that many will attempt to get around the ban by tipping off relatives/friends/partners-in-crime, and I think a LOT of Congressional time is going to involve each party trying to smear members of the other party with accusations of insider trading, DOJ investigations, subpoenas. We get so little actual work from Congress given that they take off time for campaigning and such, and this will just make it worse. The lesser evil may be to just let them profiteer on this. After all, why do you think these millionaires agree to run for a position that only pays a couple hundred thousand? The insider trading is like their stock options, or their golden parachute.

That depends on their level of savvy. Disclosures usually have a significant delay from the actual transaction. Idk about the content creators, but it seems like a safe bet many of the followers won't understand this detail, and/or how to properly supplement it with their own research.
The other reason the stock act is unenforceable is because, when congressional committee members get information in these classified meetings, they cannot use the information from the meeting to use as proof of insider trading, because it's classified and can't be released to use as evidence of what information they got prior to making a trade. Stock act violations are literally impossible to prosecute.
I’m surprised that Trevor didn’t mention all of the congresspeople who conveniently invested in body bags right before the pandemic, instead of actually doing anything to stop it.
Never fall in love with a stock,Never fall in love with a CEO because they neither know you or care about your portfolio investing should be unemotional
So for anyone more knowledgeable about this than me, how do people even make money owning stock? Isn’t the money locked in the stock market until you sell your shares? Sure, it’s passively earning money by the price of those stock rising but these Congress members haven’t cashed out yet, no? Inside trading should ABSOLUTELY still be illegal but this is something that is also a problem I feel people miss when discussing the net worth of Billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Unless I’m wrong, the money tied to the stocks isn’t theirs until they sell🧐
This is far worse than CEOs doing inside trading. It's one thing to react towards the knowledge you have before everyone else due to your position ( conventional definition of insight trading). And it's a different thing for someone to buy stock shares then pass the law to protect her profit. (Nancy Pelosi helped VISA to combat their struggles with credit card holder act in 2008 and Pual Pelosi was offered VISA shares in primary market before IPO. It sounds like a deal that profits both parties greatly)This raises a question: are those laws they passed to protect the interest of the general public or the politicians pocket?

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points .
I think I have seen this name on a trading forum before, And how may I contact her if that isn't too much to ask
Run a search with her name online, you will see all you need to know about her
I’m so glad I voted for Ossoff!
Love that Trevor also included in there the fact that a lot of developing countries are the way they are by implementing the worst of what they learned from western countries with none of the checks and balances.
well said
I work for a global tech firm. When I was on a team that had access to financial data I was only permitted to buy/sell stock twice a year when it was deemed open. Couldn't we do the same ?
Thanks for the update everyday 💥🙌🏽
I don't live in the US but man this show is pure gold
This is a topic that needs to be in spotlight all the time. Insider trading amongst other things are what's really hurting our poltics

I'm from GA and I couldn't be happier of our junior senator!
Makes the constant GRIFT that much more reprehensible 😑
Trevor, this is one of your best videos yet! Totally infuriating 😡🤬 and totally hilarious 🤣🤣. Great job.
Generally I agree with Pelosi, but her not wanting to eliminate what is essentially congressional insider trading is deeply alarming.
Vote her out
"generally agree with Pelosi" 🤤
It's not insider trading it only matters how close you are to the inside
I generally agree with jeffery Dahmer, but his position on what belongs on a meat lovers pizza is deeply alarming...
do you listen to yourself? ....this kind of non-thinking is why we are blighted by these malevolent criminals..
you really think you can't find someone you agree with as much as pelosi that isn't a horrifying robber baron?
I work for the FAA and I am restricted to own aviation stock, which I have no insider information. But freaking pelosi.
Why are you allowed to when my company/SEC doesnt let me have a "free" rein because I work in finance? Equal rules or equal restrictions!
You have a lot of controls in your hands, there is obviously conflict of interest here.
I'm happy I stayed around to the end 😂😂😂
Hat off to AOC, and others. Clean up the swamp.
Hilarious and TRUE!!! Great job Trevor as usual.
There are already laws against insider trading. Those laws only apply to the peasants though. Like all American laws, they do not apply to "important people".
What is the point of making another law banning this when cops are afraid to enforce our current laws when the perpetrators are important people?
Can't believe I'm going to say this but..."Way to Go Trevor". First I start agreeing with Bill Maher and now you. Thanks for shedding light on the truth.
It's funny that that McCarthy got a lot to say about stock trading but he can't keep Marjorie Greene in line , now that was 😆😂🤣
This happened with a Minister (Govt Official) in my country, pulled out their insurance policy while their political party was in govt and was talks with the company to help them in their troubled financial crisis.
Oh no, now I will not be able to follow Pelosi's Hedge Fund trades.

They shouldn't be able to invest, nor their immediate family. It is not a free market when our taxes are used as bailouts. They should also have to live in government housing.
This was funny and amazingly a sad commentary of reality. Thank you for being the best whistle-blower of our time that is not afraid to speak the truth!! ❤
Why aren’t some of the videos from this episode on the main page?
They upload the segments individually with a delay after they air
“I will buy arm floaties!”
“You have passed the test!”
Finally David Kibuuka gets done screen time!!!
Trevor, thanks for bringing this to America's attention. The bit in the end with Roy was too funny, thanks.

Thank you Trevor for making this on YT as well!
Why are people so greedy? Like, how much do you need?
Please, Trevor, more of the funny sketches as the one in the end. Hilarious!
The last part
Glad to see David Kibuuka in a Sketch. He's been behind the scenes helping Trevor.
Am I the only one that feels like 200k is a pretty reasonable salary. Doesn’t feel excessive given the position.
Amazing 🤩
Award-worthy! The writing!! The acting!!
🤩
They are mostly in "the know" and this is how they come out of congress multi millionaires
Thanks trevor for this issue
The very moment Pelosi responded to that question was the moment I lost all respect for her and all faith. Like the saying goes listen long enough and people will reveal their true colors. This woman loves being able to use inside information to trade stocks profitably.
Sorry that it took so long for you to realize what sort of person Pelosi was.
The 'old guard' in congress is filled with the likes of her, a product of a more corrupt time....
Shout-out to Trevor for putting on David Kabuka 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
copying their moves using tiktok is very clever
That depends on their level of savvy. Disclosures usually have a significant delay from the actual transaction. Idk about the content creators, but it seems like a safe bet many of the followers won't understand this detail, and/or how to properly supplement it with their own research.
Doing better than Warren Buffet is definetly sketchy 😂😂
“It is like their witchcraft…”😂😂😂
Don't let them bury this!
Don't you dare let America forget this in a month, don;t you dare!
imagine a bill that makes it illegal for politicians to lie.
how could they vote no?
Subjective.
make their noses grow, their penises shrink each time they lie! FINE them 100,000 per lie!
Easy, if Biden supports the bill, Republicans will vote no.
That’s why politician is always the top 1 job. You have power, you have everything.
We don't talk about Congressgressgressgress
hah.
Great show. Thank you. Love your cleverness.
Never fall in love with a stock,Never fall in love with a CEO because they neither know you or care about your portfolio investing should be unemotional
Investment I a positive return of your gutful thinking, not the market.
"Put it in your bones" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Congrats to the couple expecting a newborn, and to the communities they depend on. Take care of your neighbors.
Trevor has really nailed deadpan sarcasm.
That skit at the end was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time:-!
being a member of congress is the best part-time job in the US AND they are, after all, above the law...
Lawmakers think they are above the law! Insider trading shouldn't be a perk of Public Service. They say, if you want to invest look to Congress.
I do not like you, I use to when you were just a comedian, however I can’t remember when I actually watched you and enjoyed it. I will say this now, thank you. Not only do we agree on something, you are speaking the truth to the world. Thank you. I respect you and I hope you are able to keep the honest truth going
I like the idea of congress having to put their stocks somewhere in a trust before taking office. Ordinary people go to jail for insider trading - when they get caught. Even Martha Stewart didn't get away with it. Why should congress be allowed to do it?
It was the lying while under investigation she was punished for, not the illegal trades.
The ending joke is sooo sharp and hilarious
I was looking for this comment.
Makes me realize why senators really don’t want to leave office or have Terms to their ability to stay in office…making that 💰 💰💰💰
Americans need to understand that most of their leaders, no matter their stance/party/ideology don’t care about them. They only care about themselves. “Politics” is a code word for SELF INTEREST.
This is the big problem everybody thinks everything's a joke
They shouldn't be allowed to receive large donations from companies either.
We all in the US agree that insider trading is unethical. For everyone else it is illegal and punished. No Representative can support maintaining insider trading and claim to be ethical. Require blind trusts for anyone serving political office.
